I like the way you show us the mistakes and the solution. It really helps to learn and understand everything properly. Thank you for this awesome tutorial.
I've experimenting with using this as a template so I appended it into a new file and duplicated the building. Hit the 2 next to the count to delete the original building's geometry node from the second building and it gave me a duplicate geometry node setup with .001 extension allowing me to change the 2nd building. Just by changing the 1 x 1 models I can give the 2nd building a different look. A very useful tutorial you explained the details as you went along. Thanks.
Awesome tutorial, I am going to teach this to my students next week! With a few adjustments on inputs we can easily change the asset collections to selfmade tiles, and thus build our very own little city. Thank you for the inspiration!
I think the math works out a lot easier if you leave the origin to be the center. Then when you are moving the walls, you only need to offset either X or Y for each wall, not both. And it's completely symmetrical.
Hey mate, thanks for the whole series, and thanks for updating for 3.0. I'm very new to blender but I found this video relatively easy to follow with some effort and I learnt a lot. Thanks again.
Woah! Thanks for updating the procedural building tutorial. Now I too would be able to come to a conclusion regaring with system of geo nodes is better according to my own opinion. Thanks for the great work 🙂
Thank you, very, very beautiful. you can turn this into a wall and put a door in the claw. The roof rafters ,and if you make roof tiles, it will be a wonderful video
Thanks again for this new version of the procedural house. Have you figured how to include a traditional roof (instead of a flat one)? That said, thanks again for your tutorial
In blender 2.9 I use attribute i was like 😨 and now In blender 3.0 it is so easy to use I mean that last time when you made you have to make almost 3 parts and now you have just to make 1 part and by the way thank you for updating😊
very clear, thank you! one question, how to add a new floor with a different group of walls? For example: up to the 5th floor some wall modules, after the 5th floor others + adding air conditioners and other decorations without adding them to the mesh wall
Great tutorial!- though you went a bit fast at times, I kept having to restart from 0 as I would miss things and screw up. Also, just a warning to anyone coming across this hoping to get anything exportable out of GeoNodes. ATM, using the "Realize Instance" node (i.e. what you use to make the geo node structure "real" geometry) destroys all uvs on the the instances in the process of creating the mesh. This makes geo nodes practically unusable for anything outside of Blender at the time of writing.
Thanks for including the project file and assets, I found your presentation to be too quick at times and I got lost towards the end and none of my height and width would line up. Not sure where I went wrong, but it was probably just me.
I'm noticing that walls opposite from each other have the same arrangement of the two types of windows. is there a way to make each side unique from its opposite side?
Hi, Chong!!! Thank you so much for this!!! Is there any difference between: 1_Scaling the grid to 2 meters and leaving the 3 vertices alone (as you did on the video) 2_Change the vertices to 2 and then leave the 1 meter scale alone.
Can u make a tutorial how u edit ur tutorial video this really nice the math explainer in between the video i really like it and want to learn and which software u use for editing
Sure, we can talk about it in the future. My videos are all edited using Adobe Premiere Pro, and some of the Graphic Elements in the video are created using Adobe Illustrator.
Hi, you can add a "set material" node at the "Roof Top" section before the Join Geometry. If you need to refer the project file, you can also download it from the description
Great tutorial! Mr chong this video help me a lot to create city. But I wonder know is there any way I can make roof with object info node instead of grid node?I have tried but this problem goes over my head.....
Mr Chong, best geometry node teacher ever. I love how you teach, explaining what each node does. It's really lovely
Thanks! 😄
I like the way you show us the mistakes and the solution. It really helps to learn and understand everything properly. Thank you for this awesome tutorial.
I find it interesting that adding the distortion to your voice makes it really interesting to understand you with that thick accent.

So easy to follow, thank you. You really move along fast but are so clear with it, brilliant work!!
Glad it was helpful!😄
Didn't knew the duplication method I used to duplicate all the nodes leading to instances on point node and then join them, Thanks man , subbed
You're very welcome! Thanks for the Sub!😃
I'm glad it's updated for 3.0 :D
This tutorial has saved me a lot of time creating video game assets.
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed this lesson. It is extremely valuable.
Glad it helped!

Agree..
Lots of good information here. I like how you explain what the nodes are doing, and why. Thanks for the info!
I've been hoping to find a tutorial using Geometry Nodes to create a procedural building. Thanks.
You are welcome!😄
Hi Mr. Chong! hope that u're well and healty. Thank you for the tutorial, that was very clear and very fun to follow!!!
Never been too crazy about these nodes!
Hey mate, thanks for the whole series, and thanks for updating for 3.0. I'm very new to blender but I found this video relatively easy to follow with some effort and I learnt a lot. Thanks again.
Like your tut. style - 30min - easy explanations - screencast keys - no distracting elements = new subscriber! Looking forward to future tut.
Thanks again for this new version of the procedural house.

Thanks very muuch. Best video for nodes i ever found
Just stumbled on this one. Great work in creating something that's easy to understand.
Thanks again for this new version of the procedural house. Have you figured how to include a traditional roof (instead of a flat one)? That said, thanks again for your tutorial
I haven't tried it yet, will make another video or update in the community once I find out😅
I wonder if 3.1 will change anything, I'm pretty sure more nodes are coming out. Thanks for updating this!
Thanks! I don't think there are any big changes in Blender 3.1, but for sure, more nodes are coming
It's amazing how fast you explained it while also including explanations when needed 👌👌
In blender 2.9 I use attribute i was like 😨 and now In blender 3.0 it is so easy to use I mean that last time when you made you have to make almost 3 parts and now you have just to make 1 part and by the way thank you for updating😊
Agree with you😄, the Fields Workflow in Blender 3.0 is a lot easy to use 😄😄
Thank you so much for showing us an updated version for 3.0
Thank u Chong for your great tutorial. Learned a lot through your clear explanation.
Hooray! Thank you for making a new one of these!
exactly. this is awesome. i always wanted a 3.0 version
This is the best video for procedural buildings! Thanks you. Can you show how to add internal floors to the nodes?
Awesome material! I was able to follow de description even being a beginner! Thanks a lot!!
thanks for taking the time to update your video to 3.0.
Vraiment impressionnant ! Merci beaucoup de prendre le temps de nous partager tout ça :)
This is great stuff, subscribed!
very clear, thank you!

Wonderful. And so bright and cheerful.
GENIUS!
Very clear and easy to understand. Absolutely worth a like and subscribe! Looking forward to more of your tutorials! Thank you!
wow, that's really cool!
Thank you!!! You are explaining very well)))
Nice tutorial. However, geometry node is a complex topic. it needs to be simplified in the future
Thanks for ur tutorial it was greattt ✔✔✔✔
i like the colors :)
Thanks!
if your wall is not 1 meter, but for example length x
then the formula will be (n-1) * x
Where
n - number of walls
x - wall length
very good tutorial. Thanks Chong!
Glad you liked it!😄
Very good and clear - Thank you
Glad it was helpful!😃
Thank you!! It's so good.
I'm glad you like it😄
happily subscribed just wanted to know where you learn these things?
From everywhere, RUclips, Houdini tutorial, C4D tutorial, Blender tutorial, math tutorial and so on😅
Great tutorial! Thanks for your tutorial!
Question:I use roof corner method to create ground corner, but there has no effect. Thanks for answer :)
Hi, did you mind to send me your working file? so that i can take a look 😀
@@Chong3D Sure! I will send you later 😀
That was amazing, thank you so much
THanks for updating!
No problem!🙂

Brilliant person, you helped me a lot!
thank you so much for updating and teaching! learned alot
Glad it was helpful!😄
Epic, can you next make the geo nodes procedural castle?
Thanks. I am still not sure if I will make a castle, but I do have a plan to make something similar.😄
Amazing, thank you so much, this is just what I was looking for.
Uou, what a great tutorial!!
Thank you!
superbe cours de geometry nodes (frenchy)
Thank you so much for this ❤️
Wow Thank You so much!
Thank you so much for all your effort to teach this awesome field
How about procedural streets/crossings maybe on various heights… By the way, love your style!
I am still looking for an efficient way to do it, will definitely make a video after i figure out😄
AWESOME!!!!!!!
I'm noticing that walls opposite from each other have the same arrangement of the two types of windows. is there a way to make each side unique from its opposite side?
you are amazing
Thanks~😃
God, this is amazing. I'll suscribe.
Hi, Chong!!! Thank you so much for this!!!
Is there any difference between:
1_Scaling the grid to 2 meters and leaving the 3 vertices alone (as you did on the video)
2_Change the vertices to 2 and then leave the 1 meter scale alone.
Nice! 👏
Awesome!!
Thanks!😃
Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!

@@Chong3D thanks appreciate it
Thats great!
Awesome video . Thanks for it . Any chance you show us how to flip those elements so we can get room/interior genrrator
Thanks! For the interior, I don't really have a good solution yet, but i will make a video once I figure it out😄
@@Chong3D awesome
amazing
GOLD! Thanks for the Tut dude :)
No problem!😊
Lah ya3tik lkhir 👌👌
Excellent video, thank you!
Hi Chong
Thanks for this tutorial
I wonder if we can make a small city with this geometry nodes building ?
Many thanks, you are the best
You're welcome!😄
Great tutorial, one issue I have is there is a small gap between the window and the roof, any suggestions?
Awesome man
Thanks!
amazing tut!
Fantastic. Thank you.
question, how do i change roof color? btw thank you for the amazing trutorial ✨!!
Hi, you can add a "set material" node at the "Roof Top" section before the Join Geometry.
If you need to refer the project file, you can also download it from the description
Hello Chong 3D, excellent tutorial do you have any contact of someone who could use your tuto to make my own procedural Buildin?
thanks for the lesson

Hi
Great tutorial
Could you make a procedural city tutorial ?
Yes I will, but i can't promise when i am able to do it😅
thank you
