Do these wifi cameras need to be continually connected to a power source? So does that mean you have to drill through walls to get the cables inside the house?
Are you installing cameras outside the house then yes , unless you have a power sourse ourside.

There are people bypassing my Night Owl 1080p wireless system. Believe it's maintenance.
Anyway, is there away to set system so even if they bypass wifi that the video is yet recording?
Im not sure BUD maybe customer support could answer that one.

Hello, make sure you are connected to the same wifi network. Make sure to use the app the night owl app.
So um...is there ANY system other than nightowl that works with the 4k wired cameras? No sound, if that's important. No internet. I just look at it if something is amiss...after all...they dont stop crime...they're supposed to record crime...mine didn't when it counted...

Don't buy night owl products, they have horrible support & 2 years later you'll need to buy another complete system.
need help dont know what to do anymore my night owl system which is 6 ton 7 years old now can get into menu I have been on night owl protect I get a code but all I get is secure code error I change the battery I removed the battery my system works I just need to get a hard re set or get a passcode to work I cant I need help
Did you contact customer support ? They are 24 /7

Man you weren't very good at showing us how to go through the whole system it'd be nice if you would have walked through each thing showed how'd you connect the camera and done the stuff I mean it was okay but you could have been a lot more detailed than it would have been a lot better video
