😶I know a lot about rocks and fossils but those are just the star ⭐️
I just went to his site and ordered a gift for my 8 year old niece for Christmas! Thank you so much for sharing this at just the right time. I let him know I saw it here first. And in future, I think I might shop your e-bay for me...;) Thank you again, and blessings on you during the holidays.
Are you located in michigan? I live in michigan and would love to start gem mining but have no idea where to even start. I live in the thumb on lake huron.
Do you have information to contact Erik?
Imagine building a statue with those stones as eyes
But Most people won’t be able to see it glow unless they but like 100 UV lights on the statue
Been done.
Wow, I was just thinking about what these stones would look like when cut into! Thank you so much for showing us the inside. The owner of the shop I work at just bought a Yoopelite that was carved into a buffalo and it's so cool seeing the fluorescence in person. These are top knotch fluorescent rocks and I definitely want to take a trip to Lake Superior this summer to grab some of my own! I'm thinking of polishing some as well, to see what kind of unique patterns I can get from them! I love all that you do Bryan and truly appreciate all of you knowledge and passion!!
That was so awesome! I thought it would be amazing inside, kind of like an opal when cutting into it. They would make great cabochons or just slices for necklaces. Glad I gave you that idea to cut one open!
I just love your little dog. I'm so happy that you take him with you to have fun. Susann
I always learn new things when I watch your videos. Your dog is adorable!

Snowflake with lines are awesome! Thank you for the video! Been collecting since I learned to walk, 50+ years! Never knew about these!❤️

It would be cool to have my kitchen counter made of these rocks.
Yeah that would be really cool,
Yes it is. And you need to come to northern Ontario where the big pieces are lol
i want that too ahah
Harmonica Man I want a pudding stone table.....
Or atleast the backsplash and put some uv lights under the counter that way it glows

Wow, that's great work. Even though I am a gemologist, I never saw Yooperlites. Thanks.
I searched and understood that Yooperlites are syenite clasts containing fluorescent sodalite.
As a doctor of gemology, I want to study about Yooperlites in near future.
Send me a message. I'll send you a few really nice ones.
wath about vanadinite
Good luck...
Lake Superior can give up her secrets! WOW! she hit it right on the nose! Congrats!
How cool!! Down in West Texas we had these egg-shaped rocks that had geodes inside if you cracked them open. Geology can be very flashy!!

Love the pieces that you cut in half. Those were really cool.
Yea it was neat to see them, gonna have to cut more it’s fun!
oooh those would make some awesome pendants! the cut Yooperlights that is.. and I have been anxiously awaiting the AR dig clips
Wow it's really amazing stones.
So pretty. These would make a lovely resin table. Cut many slices place them between two slabs of Plexiglas. Maybe pour some colored sand trails in between. Add some sea shell slices. Pour your resin in and when it dries add some florescent lighting underneath the table so it shines through. I just looked out my window there's a woodpecker tapping away at my tree lol
Those are cool, great Video!
Congratulations, Leanne!

OMG!! Finally something in Michigan I could get into. How do I find d out more information? Just point me in the right direction! Are all these only found in the UP? I'm interested in both the glowing stones and the Herkimer diamonds. Finally something to do this summer. Just give me a couplecouple hints on where to look. My stomping grounds are Oscoda, but I'm more than willing to make the drive up north. Please help me find these, I've been waiting so long for something to do around here. Awesome video guys and gals. I'm truly excited!!!
Me gustan tus vídeos .sigue adelante bro
I need to find a couple of these.
7:51 He announces the Herkimer prize
When the river goes down this summer, I’m going to try an experiment. I live in N. Indiana, and I’m going to see if the glaciers brought any down this far, and the most likely place to find them should be in the riverbed.
Get me one too, Linda.😁
Find any?
@@Emiliapocalypse Not yet. Been looking a bit, nothing so far.
There is a guy getting gold out of the Rogue River just north of Grand Rapids by panning in the summer
I am curious about what healing qualities these hold 🤔 so cool !
Wonderful intriguing video! But I'm curious, are yooperlites only found by bodies of water?
wow, those small ones cut are gorgeous! is the purple hue/shine the same mineral ? impurities?
Toward the end of the video, which Michigan State Park were you staying at? Thanks for sharing.
