my father passed away yesterday after a long fight with cancer. I don't know what to do whether to cry or be happy but all I want to say that he is now free from his bodily sufferings and so are we. Thank u krishnamurti for enlightening us.

Why would it need meaning?
Perhaps instead: what is the significance of one's death? How does our death impact others and the world?

There are two meanings for death. In one, you die in authority. in another, you die to authority.
