My head must be gigantic because I had to add a few rows in order to make it fit. Looks adorable and I love it, but it looked comical on my head before I fixed it
Really nice tutorial. One question, you say that we only use HDC, but when you show us your work it seems different by any chance did you do some rounds of DC?,
Hello! I love your video and I want to make one but using a black yarn, but my problem is I only have an indophil yarn. Can I use it or should I buy a yarn that is like yours? Thank you. Love lots 💗
Thank you so much 💓 I wrote all the details down in the description box concerning the yarn, I am not sure about my head circumference but it is on the smaller side 😅
hello! the tutorial was really helpful but i get the feeling that my head size might be a lot bigger than yours ;;;; can i ask what your head circumference (or wherever the hem of the beret sits) is for reference so that i can figure out how many more rows i need to add before i do the finishing border? ❤
Hi! Thank you for your comment Yes I do believe I have a small head. I will measure the circumference if I can this week, however I have written down the size of the beret on my blog, which might help? The link is in the description box Yes you could definitely add a few rows to make the beret a bit bigger 💖
quick question! i accidentally bought a size 4 yarn and a size 5 hook for this project that i can’t return, should i just use fewer rows until it reaches 13in in diameter? im starting to worry it will be too big even with my big head lol
Hi, thank you for your comment; yes so you should just crochet enough rows so that you have 13 inches total, however you could definitely add one or two rounds after that if you think you will need your beret to be slightly bigger. Once you've done this (13" or more of rows) just follow the rest of the pattern as normal
After the row where you take the hat inwards (ch 2, sc in 3rd stitch*) i dont understand which stitches to use as there are now loops and sc stitches. I assume all of them?
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by loops. Basically this means this row is a row of only Single Crochets; you should work your next rows in these Single Crochets only. I hope this helps!
Hello Selina I love this pattern, but I'm stuck on round 8. For round 8 am I putting 2 hdc in the first stitch and then hdc in the next 6 stiches and repeat this sequence for a total of 80 stitches? Then for round 9, 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc in the next 7 stitches? Because your pattern says round 8-18 hdc 10 stitches around. So I'm confused
Hi! I'm so pleased you like this pattern; so what I mean is that from round to round you should be adding 10 stitches more for each round. So yes you are right about rounds 8 and 9; if you follow the pattern it will add 10 extra HDC for each round. So for example you should have 80 HDC total for round 8, and 90 HDC for round 9, and so on and so forth. I hope this helps!
This was fantastic until you skipped how to finish the project. Love the pattern but what do I do with the thread at the end so it doesn’t come undone?
Hi! Aww thank you, glad you enjoyed this project. You can find my video on how to sew in loose ends here ruclips.net/video/s3GGWlKXPxY/видео.html I hope this helps
I have made 10 each lady is doing there’s different, she disappeared I am mad, I can’t find her, her was a single crochet, where she doing the double crochet in the next one or the same

One question, you say that we only use HDC, but when you show us your work it seems different by any chance did you do some rounds of DC?,
Thank you! No it's definitely all HDC that I've used for this project x
I need it for winter
Hello! I love your video and I want to make one but using a black yarn, but my problem is I only have an indophil yarn. Can I use it or should I buy a yarn that is like yours? Thank you. Love lots 💗
Hi! You can use any yarn you prefer just make sure it's a DK/light 3 yarn. And cotton or a cotton blend is best 💞
I❤it😊
🙏💕
Love this pattern! Can I make this with velvet yarn following the same pattern as yours?
Thank you 💓 you could try but please make sure it's a fine DK/light 3 yarn too
How many grams did you used? And can I know the circumference of your head? Your tutorial was very understandable. Love it!!🎉

If I have to put it down mid row how do I tell if I’ve just done a single half double crochet or double half double crochet?
Maybe you can place stitch markers to help?
@@SelinaVeronique good idea! I’d been avoiding buying stitch markers but turns out you do kind of really need them
Hi you didn't say how many stitches were on each row. Is it in The PDF? I started one with different stitches so i can do it looser
Hi! Yes it's written in the PDF but also the free written pattern available in the link in the description box ❤
Can i just check that you said the whole diameter measured 13inches?
Hi! This information is all available on the blog post linked in the description box
