  • Despite progress on girls’ education in Uganda in recent decades, girls are missing out on key opportunities to gain skills because they are not being as actively engaged in their studies as boys. Echidna Global Scholar Hawah Nabbuye examines national education policies that support the use of gender-sensitive pedagogy so that all students have equal opportunities to learn and stereotypical gender roles do not limit development.
