hello!can you please tell me if the perfume in the bottle had an amber colour or was it a clear liquid?

@@ruthannemackinnon588 I know, I had read mixed reviews about it on Fragrantica though, and a member had commented that it smelled terrible on her, but re-edited her comment saying that after a while she tried her cousin's and it smelled divine (caramel etc) and the difference was in colour - her cousin's was clear hers was amber. She had bought a sample herself so probably a bad batch or even a fake?
But that was the noticeable difference apart the package these 2 came in...oh well.. I was curious though, so I thought to ask.

It will turn amber over time because of all the vanilla!
I just smelled Pink Sugar for the first time....smells TOTALLY different to me than as described by everyone else. Just a touch of sweetness, but mostly sharp citrus, faint fruits, and a musty/musky/woody scent. I was expecting a vanilla-caramel bomb. Where is the caramel?!
However, the liquid in my bottle is almost clear. I'll let it macerate for awhile and see if the scent changes.

It took me years to love this scent. All in moderation. It’s really beautiful and last forever. I have a friend that this is her signature scent and she is 45 and I am 51.

I weared this fragrance to work and I got comments all day long! Some of them were positive, others not so much..somebody screamed; I smell sweet cotton candy where is the freaking circus!? Well....that was embarrasing;)
Some of my co-workers wanted to lick and taste me...also strange..so this fragrance has a quite unussual effect on people. I like it, but not to much! Is very very heavy and overpowering! Greetings from the Netherlands!

Got Pink Sugar today because its talked about so much. I love it absolutely yummy sexy and warm. I love it from the start and it lifts my mood a lot.

I use to hate this perfume but within time... I started loving it. Probably because I sell perfume oils and this is my top seller. And by the way... I always trust ur judgment when it comes to perfumes. Not many utubers know how to describe perfumes so ty. Yea , there are a few of u that I really enjoy watching and trust.
I like this perfume. Not my most favorite but it's still good. I usually get good compliments on this one from men. But don't spray it too much because it will harm people around you lol. Just only 2-3 sprays it's good to go
Oh yes! This one could easily be over sprayed.
My boyfriend said it was too sweet so, I sprayed it on my pillow 3 days later he woke up and said he smelled donuts!!!! 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩😂🤣😂🤣

I agree with your initial smell, the burnt suger, caramel, licquoice, is definitely there! except I really feel like it's a floral sweet smell to me right off the bat... The dry down to me I can smelll the vanilla sweet liqouice musky Wood. Lol. Very interesting and a beautiful perfume.
This perfume lasts forever on me, all day all night so I'm surprised by it being a toilette because it perforns like a parfum. I get compliments GALORE from MEN. Im shocked because I own over 50 perfumes, and this one is definitely one of my most complimented one out of all.

That moment when I own Pink Sugar and Prada Candy... And I layered them to give myself a sweetness overdose. Prada candy sprayed first (just one spritz) and then Aquolina (again, lightly applied). It's... Heaven. Not work friendly, but on the other hand I work from home so who cares, hehe!
I also layer Aquolina with Far Away Rebel from Avon, and it's a very nice combo as well!!!! Aaaand I also layered it with Fantasy by Britney Spears.
The key in all of these combinations is a very light application. One light spritz on the clothes or skin, from afar.
I am usually into heavy orientals, like Poison, Far Away (original), Obsession...
But once in a while I do feel the need to smell... Happy, and pink, and fluffy.

Awww thanks! I think yes!!! As long as you layer em side by side...so spray one on one side, and one on the other... then you will get both rather than one dulling the other like a blanket! :)

Okay i wish i could dilute this perfume some how? It gives me a crazy crazy headache and nausea sprayed it on my brothers arm he was sooo sick of the.smell he took a shower to remove it lol and no it didn't rub off... i had a flight 1 week ago its still on all my clothes crazy performance
So my review of it: crazy sweet i would rather smell it like 4 days after spraying? It's just too much
But i wont give up on it. I want to find way to dilute this. Btw...i love dior hypnotic poison in terms of sweet scents idk.

I got the pink sugar today. It smells so good. I seen the raving reviews about it and I had to have it. It did not disappoint me. They have them at Walgreens and Tj Max.

I have pink sugar and simply pink.. both are great.. i could wear both everyday... 1 lil spritz can last 6 hours ++ on my skin.. amazing isnt it... blended well with my skin.. this one is wow to me

Helloooooo! I would say they are similar in the way that they are both intensely sweet. But this one has a more of a burnt sugar/licorice smell to it, but it really smells of cotton candy sugar when it is dry, prada candy is more of a soft caramel. I would definitely recommend this one as it's much longer lasting and much cheaper. I was quite unimpressed with prada candy. :(

Hello! Welcome! I personally think that Fantasy is better, it's more interesting. Pink sugar dries down so so sweet like candyfloss and Fantasy is more fruity. :)
I just posted on someone else's video about this fragrance and I will post much of the same comment here so you can perhaps lend more input! I just bought this without ever having smelled it, because I had at one time a wonderfulcotton candy fragrance years ago, that my baby broke. I never saw that brand again (or perhaps I did not remember the name, or what the bottle looked like.) I heard this smelled like cotton candy. I ordered it on ebay and it just arrived. Initially I smelled cotton candy but I felt like, it was not enough of it. I thought I smelled a black licorice underneath. Which scared me, because until I got to this review I never heard black licorice mentioned in the review before (just by people in the comments) and I was not sure if it was a fake or not. Not sure I'm a fan now, because I feel like I smell the black licorice more than I'd like too. I did not even anticipate that part of the fragrance, I was anticipating caramel, or vanilla. It only just arrived, so I have not worn it for the day, but do you have any input if the licorice fades and more of the cotton candy fragrance is left? I just used it five minutes ago, but I was so worried after detecting licorice, I was concerned if I paid for a bootleg. Thank you so much fo this review...if not for you mentioning licorice, I would have felt ripped off. I will now say, in the time it took to write this, I do notice less of the licorice. 🤔
You got it absolutely right....the licorice note in this fragrance is only apparent in the wetter stages, the dry down? When the fragrance is reallllly dry is when you get the cotton candy sweetness. The burnt sugar part goes away aswell. In terms of a fake? It's highly unlikely. Most fakes target companies like chanel and Dior, they would't want to fake a fragrance that is very affordable like Pink Sugar. It wouldn't be worth their while. :)

I will buy this because is the only sweet perfume that it makes me smile and i'm not really into the sweets scents. i also smelled the Prada Candy - is good but it didn't put a smile on my face like this one - immediately . It reminds me of Christmas, family and like i have in the oven some desert that is almost ready to be served and when you serve it you also sprinkle some powdered sugar on top. I must say you convinced me to buy another perfume :( . Have great day

I was going to do a whole Samsara video as I now have 5 versions (vintage and new) of it but...I dunno I just didn't haha. I will at some point. Which is better? Oh gosh pink sugar is WAY better in my opinion. Prada Candy is weak, expensive and basically just smells like Benzoin which is like a weak slightly caremelised vanilla. it's also not very complex. Pink Sugar is cheaper (where I've seen it) stronger and more complex. Do you like Liquorice/Aniseed though? Because it does have that in it. The dry down is VERY sweet though like candyfloss wrapped in sugar dipped in vanilla haha!

Well maybe give it a go. Everywhere that I've seen it, it's been quite affordable and won't break the bank like Prada Candy.
I think i will try. I have hypnotic poision by dior wich also has anisey note. My last purches was the l'occitan ambre edt. It's very sweet like honey. People say it's like the hermes amber nurguil (not a dupe). It starts artificisl to my nose but the dryies down is very complex and cozy.
Oooh I love L'occitane products. Not tried any of their perfumes though. Only the creams and stuff. :)

Hello! In my experience, this brand is not one fakers try to fake. You will be pretty safe buying this one. :) However if you are worried, I would contact them directly and order some, or see if they have a website?
Well the last time my friend bought it from Amazon she got fake one and we compare it with the original one .. the problem is I m from India and here many things we get are not original so it's hard to get original one
