Hearing this makes me so happy. I’m 21 and have felt that I need to move on to more “mature” scents because I associate Pink Sugar with my preteen and teenage years, even though I still love it. Now I know that I might never get tired of the scent I love!

PS i used to work at a hospital as a Patient Care Assistant and my best friend and I talked about perfume 'everyday'.....its a grinding workplace environment hey and our daily perfumes helped us cope. (The whole hospital knew my friend and I were the ones who talked perfume all the time.....it was a 'thing' with us and brought joy to others too).
Black Kittens my favorite layering combo is Pink Sugar with Black Opium by YSL. The burnt note of PS makes Black Opium so much more interesting! Thanks for subscribing to my channel - I’ll see you there!

I love this perfume, it smells exactly how you describe it. I live in a hot climate and I still wear it. Btw, I absolutely love your outdoor reviews ❤️

I have a lot of love for Pink Sugar. I get a lot of the orange on my skin (not so much in the sillage) that really brings a little freshness for me. Once it dries down the licorice really starts to come out for me. I get more of a caramelized sugar than a burnt sugar that others get, like the top of creme brulee. I have a couple of the flankers and they are all pretty enjoyable as well (Gold, Sensual, Simply Pink and Steel).

I have it but I am trying to decide whether or not I want to give it to my Granddaughter...trying to declutter some of my fragrances and this is one of them. I am 56 and she is 20 and I figured she would enjoy it more than me. But I do like it, I just don't reach for it unless I use it for bedtime.

I love Aqualina Pink Sugars...I have the Sparks, Gold and Pink Sugar Special Edition ....I had Black Sugar but it was way too powerful to me....I am excited about the two new ones.... x

I totally agree with you. My skin amps certain notes, and on me, this perfume smells pure licorice. No burned sugar, no cotton candy to be found anywhere, just sweet black licorice. Good thing I LOVE licorice😁

All I get is the synthetic burnt liquorice/licorice note, so unfortunately it's a big no for me

i love this perfume it’s my daily perfume for highschool!! when it dries down idk why but it smells sticky and very caramel like it smells like that part of my body had caramel drizzle on it and left it sticky afterwards. when i spray it it’s straight strawberry cotton candy and the dry down is very caramel and hint of cotton candy

I agree on the synthetic smell. I had blind bought a bottle of this but didn't end up liking it so I just sold it buuuut.... i ended up buying it again and I love it!!! Lol

The first time I smelt sugarful dream i hated it. Tried it a second time and fell in love with it. For some reason it smelt better the 2nd time I tried it.

Loved going to the state fair as a kid. We went often. They also had these small indoors amusement parks for little kids back in the early 80’s, they’re long gone for years now but I always got blue cotton candy there. It’s a shame they don’t have places like that now for kids to go, even before Covid, they didn’t have them anymore. You should do a video on fragrances that remind you of your childhood. It would be fun 👏🏻😁💯🎉♥️

I have never ever tried pink sugar. A bit late to the party 🎉 although I do enjoy gourmand & have quite a decent collection 😊💕

Yes this fragrance right now is very inexpensive and it's a toilet yes and he has the lasting power of all day I wore on a hot summer day and I could smell it at night when I was taking my clothes off I was like wow I see you still smell it and I only that you does have a burnt sugar smell is not overpowering or is that annoying to me I like it I smoke many imitation pink sugar and I like the original the best I bought mine for $16 at TJMaxx United States and I was glad to find it I said if I ever would see it I was going to pick it up and I did I picked up a pic of the 1.7 Adam and it smells really good I love it and I'm an older woman and I like it

Have you tried Gold sugar from Aqualina? This will sound crazy, but somehow it reminds me a bit of Lira by Xerjoff, with a little bit of coconut creaminess.

Like burnt sugar, is it like BR540?
I own a 100ml tester of this and honestly, I’m still struggling to like this one. I find it plastic-cy and quite chemical-ly smelling even though I love gourmand fragrances. But on the positive side, this perfume performs well (even though it’s an EDT) I sprayed it on a tester strip and left it in my bedroom and after a few hours I came back, the whole room smells Pink Sugar!
Ahh yes I can understand how some might find it too chemical-ish, but it doesn't bother me at all in this one. I gotta try it as a room scent now! :D

I have Pink Sugar......I like it alot but its not a love....I get the burnt rubber aspect alot of people also experience. But it passes. I will always have it though....it is strangely addictive.

I was put off buying this for a long time because of all the votes on Fragrantica that indicated that Pink Sugar smells like Soft by Al Rehab. I have Soft in the rollerball oil version and it is not pleasant, due to the ghastly chemical citrus note that makes it smell like sweet toilet cleaner. I did eventually buy Pink Sugar and while I can see a slight similarity in the level of sweetness to Al Rehab's Soft, there is no toilet freshener like citrus to spoil Pink Sugar. I really think the amount of people on Fragrantica that that have said that these two fragrances smell exactly the same, are doing Pink Sugar an injustice. Fragrantica reviews can often be misleading, in my experience, (especially the vote section for perfumes that smell similar) and should be taken with a pinch of salt at best.
I get a strong anise or liquorice scent as well-it lasts a long time on skin considering it’s price. Do you like the gold version?
the gold version is so nice but pretty different, more custardy sweet than sugary sweet.

Hi! I like this scent, but sadly on me it dries down to just a burnt sugar smell. I have tried it a few times. Just doesn't work for me. I agree that its such a sweet, pretty, and affordable scent for those who's chemistry it works well with. The bottle is so girly and pretty too.
Try Simply Pink. It lacks that burnt sugar scent.

Pink Sugar is the worst fragrance I have ever tried. It smells extremey cheap and nasty. As do the flankers. Everyone likes different things though, which is why it is quite popular.
