- The Analogues perform 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' by The Beatles during an integral rendition of The Beatles' White Album at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, August 24th, 2018. Featuring Jac Bico on guitar.
While most of bands that perform Beatles songs are trying to look like 'The Beatles' or to speak like 'The Beatles' The Analogues sounds like 'The Beatles'. That makes them really good. Probably the best.
Probably my favorite song off the White Album (but there’s so many gems on there). This version is truly amazing! And to perform this in Liverpool must’ve been a huge honor! ❤️🎸

Only one bad comment on this, George didn't play the solo on the original recording. Eric Clapton did. No knock on George, he asked Eric to do it.
I love how these guys just sing with their natural voice instead trying to imitate the original ones
This is their rendition, which does not attempt to facsimile the original. It's a pleasure to hear.

The Beatles existed in a world of their own. No one could even approach their music and writing skills....and they just made it look easy......with a great deal of help from Sir George Martin who was awarded the highest possible civilian honor by Her Majesty the queen when he was knighted Sir George Martin Commander of the British Empire. Sir George Martin CBE was The Beatles' producer, arranger and mentor, who signed them to EMI and worked on the vast majority of songs throughout their career. He also composed and played piano on something like 21 Beatles songs. Google will tell you.
All these years ago that guitar still gently weeps till the end of time
