Whether you are a fan of Ford or not, you can’t deny that they absolutely killed it from 99-16 with that body style. Just wreaks of nostalgic man-li-ness, almost like the dirty beat up diesel your dad or uncle would pick you up from school in after a days work. Miss that door handle design so bad. Such a simple, seemingly minor detail that made people from 99-16 know what truck they were looking at off the bat. The new trucks are gorgeous, but getting rid of that upside down rectangle design did the Super Duty F series a major diservice! I bought a mint condition 05” F250 at this point instead of a 2015+ Cummins or PowerStroke just for traditional/iconic body details. Being it’s a 6.0, I learned the hard way about that platform and would have bought the V10 if I was better informed on diesels at the time. I put alot into modding and restoring it, so wisely, would only sell for the right price so I can buy a 2016 F250/F350. The 6.7 is probably the greatest engine ever made!! Well, at least tied with the Cummins. Such a shame to because the 6.0 could have been the greatest performance engine OF ALL TIME if only Ford used the right cooling components from “BULLETPROOF” from the start.
