Out in my neck of the woods, definitely lots of traction on the rocks out here. I’m down near Anza borrego desert. You should come run down here some time. Rocks are a little more jagged is the only difference in the rocks.
Hoping to have a good summer so I can afford to get out to California for PRBTF 2023, very tentative, but those rocks at Horseman's Park look too inviting and I hear it is one of the premiere events to attend. I got to drive back from Sacramento to Omaha in 2021 and it seemed like everything West of Denver was just another place to go and Crawl. Love all the Rock Pirate Builds !
Cool Video all of those trucks are Badass!! I have built a Rock Pirates Interceptor chassis using a scx10ii raw builders kit with 3 gear transmission. I am using a Hobbywing 2300kv fusion pro and Vanquish f9 portal axles with overdrive in the front portal. Can someone tell me what pinion and spur gears I should be using? Newbie to building a comp crawler. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
How did the rock traction at corona Del Mar feel to you? I went Sunday and felt like my rc speedy r2 was struggling to stick with my 4.75 Patagonia’s. I feel like I brought the wrong tires for that place.
Super le spot , quel amortisseur à ressort externe vous utilisez , je trouve beaucoup plus fun de voir les ressorts , j ai des desert lizard mais voudrais trouver de bons amortisseurs externes 😉
wish i wasnt 1,100 miles away from the desert! the plains are soooooooo boring. no offroading spots whatsoever unless you want some little mud holes and trees scraping all your paint off. the grasses are way too thick to crawl through with little crawlers but lickily the beavers and other creatures make some ok trails to explore. nothing nearly as satisfying as this though
Thanks for sharing this great video of some amazing trucks doing some cool lines.🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼🤩🤙🏼
Nice footage, waiting for the snow to melt up here.
Got pirate towers and beds on 2 element kits, one is a gatekeeper.
Hope you had a great time here, it was nice to meet you at CDM, it was a great day.
Amazing video my part of the world lot of grip on the rocks good to see you had fun here but the Red rocks of Utah are unbelievable. Stay safe
That purple and flo yellow crawler is the true rock star of the day, I could have watched just that beauty the whole video!!

Bendiciones
Love it!!!
The difference between sandstone and granite is amazing. Watch out for stream beds though they get polished and super slick.
Great Vid!!
This video made me think that someday I, too, would like to go rock crawling somewhere in California.👍🤘👏👏👏💯
As always, amazing terrain! We have some great crawling spots, virtually in my back yard, but I would love to try large rocks like these! 👍

I do enjoy the heavier vehicles especially lots of weight in front definitely makes a difference in my opinion,
Grouce vid as always logan
great rc action. you ever come across snakes doing that?
I wanted to check out Sky RC, but that area definitely isn't tractor trailer friendly.
Wow incredible climbing! I got work to do.
Thanks flubrc for the ideal
My friend was at horseman a week ago parked in a swift truck

Proline BFG G8 krawlers are the tire to run at CDM👍🏼
Thank you much appreciated! I underestimated those . I’ll definitely get me a set asap before I head back there again.
Would've love to met you at CDM!!!!.. bummer.. #nexttime
What front bumper are you running on your interceptor? I really like the minimalist style

Found it in Apple Valley
What frame did you use building your rig that the VFD transmission fit?
It’s the rock pirate interceptor frame. Works with the stock skid
Rock pirates RC interceptor chassis it all bolts right on
At the start you mentioned your trans being a VFD Twin. Did you swap to the twin or was that incorrect? Sick lines man! You make it look easy. 😂
Standard VFD, this truck is not the twin. I may have misspoke
where in calif is horsemen's park?
Your either very early or very late for Proline By The Fire! 😂
Late, hoping to be there on time in September
Were do we go toget info on there events
My Instagram has a link to the Facebook group
