This is really interesting! I love metaphors in fiction. I'm a music guy, and I always get annoyed with the pretentiousness people feel toward art. Like certain categories (Classical, head rock in music, or elevated horror) are superior because they're different. Any art piece can be different, regardless of genre or type, and it's that individual difference that makes individual pieces great, not their connection to a genre.
Like horror movies? Check out this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLXQy-5ZFJGkYqq2MjyByLFlcuusDATC_N&si=sAYapAZ0FG12GrmJ
