If I ever hear "this is your captain speaking " and it's Kleenman's voice. I'm jumping off the ship or plane. Lol God bless
lol
@@DirtPerfect But probably a one way ticket, I gotta agree....
Laffs !
The extra effort you put into your jobs for the customer is one of the reason I watch your channel .
Thanks
extra effort they are payed to do the job and a good one this job looks like 3 year olds done it they have no clue or pride
I love watching you and the captain work together. You guys are so damn funny together. I love both your channels keep up the good work.
Thanks
Great to see you and the Captain back together again.
I was expecting in the last couple of minutes to see his conc block split right down the middle and fall on either side of post. Awesome job...
Lol thanks
Would have been nice to see what surprise might be hiding in that mafia block.
Great balancing act on the piling with the concrete block . I was amazed...
Thanks
Its pissing down with rain here in England, I'm fed up with Covid and the Coyboys are still hopeless. More digging madness with DP and and his daft sidekick Kleeman, keep up the good work boys its making my life better right now
😁
Mark, I root for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and any team playing Dallas!
Both of their videos are a welcome distration these days 👍🏻
Sorry, a die hard Eagles fan here. The whole NFC East is in shambles. The Eagles have a brutal schedule compared to Dallas but a first round loss is really no consolation to either team. Heck, the birds could lose 5 of the next 6. sigh
@@richwielechowski5191 lol, amen to that Dallas comment.
Hanging Captain's plum line on the bucket would have given a good reference, I thought you were going to do that.
Take two did some decorating in the shop 🇺🇸😁👍
That is the beauty of people with common sense we may not have the right tools all the time but we will get it done great job
Exactly thanks
You should have got Kleenman out there in the bucket. Then stopped and took a lunch break. Lol God bless
@dirt perfect you need a Bosch laser distance measure. I use one when surveying hospital room dimensions for renovations. I can measure more than 50’ away from the base point to the nearest 1/16” without moving my feet. Or in this case accurately measure without getting wet lol.
Really enjoy the content! Keep it up!
God bless
You all did it now poked six holes in the pond now all the water will leak out. Saw all those chunks of concrete breaking off on the last pole thought that thing is going to split. Good job guys!!
Thanks and
It’s still full 🤷♂️
roger that, Thanks for the vids its some normal in a not so normal world....
What you need is a letsdig18/ami thumb to solve that problem of grip power
You buying
@@DirtPerfect chris might not like the way I get you one but he will forget about later
lol
Captain plumbed them poles Exactly how we electricians plumb a Tapered light pole
DP You are so lucky! I was waiting for you to drop it! You didn’t let me down!
Lol sorry
I would say one needs either an old bucket full of concrete or a block shaped to grab easier. Awesome job DP and CC. Blessings
The fear in Captain's voice when he got in the bucket 😄.
lol
we would perhaps call it 'brown trousers time' slight translation for you guys across the pond pants.lol
@@vicinglis3736
Gives a whole new meaning to skid steer 😬😬😬
@@alexosborne5629 sure does , very well chosen words.
“I’m not a submarine Captain” 😂😂😂
Kleenman every day I watch a video with in it. It's a great day buddy. God bless
Looks like Captain kleveland is a little unprepared he should have brought a swift-water gear with them LOL Keep On Keepin On
you gave the Captain a new last name LOL.
I thought that's the way it was supposed to be LOL
@@kevinpoore5626 I'm pretty sure his name is Mike Kleeman.
Drive stakes in the ground on the sides of the pond and run string just like you do for basements.
CK, “you can still yell on the radio, I learned that at work.” 😂😂 The pitch and volume in the first arriving unit is a better scene size up than an actual description in most cases! 😳 DP, thanks for another great video!
You’re right about that! 😂😂
We used to drive pilings around DC to support lagging & when the pile driving crane couldn't reach we used a wild-hammer (like when there were power lines in the way, etc). We drove them 100 foot down or so to sure-up earth for underground parking in high rises. We'd go down 4 stories or so. Once in a while we'd hit granite and the piling would bend and come backup ('U' shaped). When I was a kid, we drove pier pilings in the water using a hose and pump. Connect the hose to the bottom of the piling and let the water clear the way. They'd go right on down, then we'd have to go down and disconnect the hose. We also drove sheet piling for coffer dams for bridge work. Sheeting, suring, pile driving and underpinning buildings. Just like kids play each day.
Looks good from here he says, you know you gotta watch Capt with drones, he tends to lose them...lol.
Another great video as always, please keep them coming. Ill get another one up soon too.
Lol thanks
Don't push them in too deep, you'll poke a hole in the bottom and drain all of the water out!!!!
Seen a homemade pile driver at a location. They used a old bucket with a bad floor, filled it with heavy rock and cement and welded thick plate onto the bottom. Reinforced the wall to floor joint. Locked the cement in with 3 rods welded across the top. Honestly thought it was pretty smart.
I was rootin for Cap'n Kleeman's swimming talents getting displayed! Of well, perhaps another time
Lol
The block work great as a sledge hammer except for when you ended up balancing it on the post when it slipped out of the thumb and at the end when it broke right half in two.
Either way it saved you from fishing concrete chunks out of the pond.
The customer should have a very nice dock when he finishes it.
This might be a lesson for Captain Kleeman to get any posts into the ground before the water level comes up too high if he wants a dock on his pond.
What a brilliant balance and recover, with that block..
Captain is a trusting soul to ride in the bucket.I would have bet even money the "Valve-Vo" would have drop the block in the pond.
Well done,
As you can see necessity is the mother of invention. ..,
Notice:No Tractors were injured in Pile Driving episode you just witnessed!
Thanks
That was a git er dun job for sure. As the captain said run what you brung.
Awesome work!
I'm just glad you didn't hit a big rock. That looked like a fun ride Captain Kleeman took in the bucket.
As always Dirt Perfect...... Great Video !
Thanks buddy
if you want to push a pile into the mud straight and easy hang it from the bucket with a short piece of chain and gravity will make it straight as you drop it in then you just have to jiggle the bucket till the chain comes off. tie wire the excavator side of the chain or you might have to swim for it
Works good if you have mud to work with
I’ve seen everything now! The whole time you were driving those beams in, I was hoping the concrete block wouldn’t break!
What y'all needed is a laser tape measure that way u could get it close to what u needed.
Well this was a first for me. I have seen pile drivers used to drive post, but I have never seen a excavator with a block of concrete used as a pile driver. It's like you said " run with what your brought". And it worked, great job again Mike.
Thanks
When a home owner is specific on length and width that means he is a particular fellow who knows what he wants . I recommend getting the water with a tape measure
Sorry to disappoint he was very happy with it
Andrew is the wonderful world of OSHA violations. Lol God bless
He has made few videos in 2020 which makes me wonder if he did not take a fall or covid or some other injury.
@@Rickimusic he said in a receent on he had spent a ton of time welding on the shop project. probably make more of those videos then working at this point,
That worked out way better than a bunch of guys I watched up in Virginia once. They made a work barge and pile driver with old wood and 55 gal barrels. This part worked great. Their problem started when they were trying to weld the beams on top of the posts. The welder was in an aluminum boat and when he struck an arc he got a "minor" shock. He dropped his welding lead which arced, burned a hole in the boat which sank taking him and all his equipment to the bottom. I laughed my butt off since no one was hurt, just a little embarrassed. Y'all stay safe and keep the vids coming.
OMG, too funny. :)
lol not good
Looks like you need a digital Tape measure. this would have worked perfectly here.
I was thinking the same. Nice Bosche units are pretty inexpensive and very handy. Love mine!
You can get free app for your phone. I don’t know how accurate they are but for this job probably good enough.
@@billtefft4315 the laser based units are millimeter accurate and not that expensive.
I swear I could feel the ground shake with every tap. Awesome job.
😁
I was honestly expecting you to hammer one post in and have the block split in half and fall in the pond! Especially like how you perfectly balanced that block on that post, and let go! Now do it again!!!! You and the Cap'n always good entertainment for an evening! Loved the "Length" joke from Cap'n and the Amusement Park Ride
Some expert flying there by The Captain. Cool shots.
You and the Captain,What a crew. It’s amazing how close you got all the iron making them plumb. Kevin
Thanks
What kind of structure is going on top of those pilings, a beer, bait and tackle shop or maybe a sailboat rental? If they put a bar out there and didn't put roof on it would it be a topless bar?
Just a dock
Nice job
just thinking a boat and string line off the 1st post to Shure would be a good straight line
Oh. Captain your killing me with that length joke
Interesting job Mike
Thanks
Good job Mike and Captain. That will make a nice dock. I hope while you are out there working they will be working on the dock. It would be nice to see how it turns out. Captain needs on of those on his new pond next. Have a great day.
I've done that with light poles and it worked good too
Is there anything you can't do? Your skills never cease to amaze me.
Sing 😜
I was waiting on the stone to fall one time lol 😆 or the big stone to crack half in 2 lol 😆 Y’all doing fine 👍.
God bless and be safe and I have you all in my prayers
Thanks
With his superhero powers, the Captain should have been able to pick up those pieces of steel and thrown them into place.
Lol
For the short ones, you should have put a string from shore out around the outside of the outer post then back to shore. Square up the string & set the distance on shore, then it would have been easy to make them the same width... just touch the string and ey ball the middle short one.
Yup
@@DirtPerfect Of course maybe the capt. likes bucket surfing too...
Yup that's something we would do here, get er done
I don't know if you are still reading these but a laser will show up on the surface of the water and give you are visible indicator. 2 will give you the start of a grid.
Fabricator could have tack welded a beam to give you the 16ft space needed between front and back posts. The face of every I-beam, even off by a degree will be feet apart over a 16ft span. I think he'll have no problem making it work. But could have saved himself hours of balancing over water, with a few welds on dry land. You guys do good work!!! Cheers Mike.
You two together crack me up ! How much temptation was there to dunk Captain Kleeman just a little into the lake
Never know what your gonna be doing next . Thanks for showing great work.
I hope someone draws eyes on the trenching bucket because it looks like some kind of dinosaur
Lol
cave man heavy equipment Mr. Flintstone .yaba daba doo !
Just a comment, might have helped to build a wooden jig to slip over the pilings to ensure they were equally spaced and in line. You're still a great operator! :-)
*HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!*
((I am done with having anything other than GREAT DAYS!!!!!))
Thanks
@@DirtPerfect and.... as a WIZE DOODE HAS SAID:
*THERE IS )are, wutever( ENUF GREAT DAYS FOR EVERYONE TO BE HAVING THEM!!!!!*
if one choooses to, that is, FREE CHOICE FREE WILL & all that stuff winkwinkNudgeNudge lol ;) hehehehe
When you have that metal beam up there with the ditching bucket that thing looks exactly like t Rex from Jurassic Park you should paint some teeth and some eyes on there! Good job guys keep up the good work could be worse you could be me running 8 inch waterline 5000 feet seven fire hydrants and it’s gonna start getting cold cheers from Wyoming!
Always great so see people working as a team; not sure about health and safety though. In the UK lifting Captain like that would be a total no-no.
DP PILING ANOTHER BRANCH TO THE EMPIRE
hehe - right at the end... confirmation that the last few hits broke your weight in half!
Yup but for it done
@@DirtPerfect Means if you needed to do more, you would need more blocks!
Don't you have a hydraulic jackhammer attachment? It would drive those much easier? But hey it worked!
Next purchase, A work barge!!!!!
TAPPY TAP TAP
Definitely think you should have given Captain K a rollercoaster ride, just to get him for the damages he causes to your equipment. 🤣😂🤣.
We usually have the lowman on the totem pole strip to thier skivies and hop in the water with the tea measure
Lol
Hmm....we're looking at doing something similar, with some wooden pilings. Plan on using an excavator to place them and 'push' them down, hopefully not breaking the piling.
Have done that before
Dat’s a LOT of dock for a pond that size. Damn son!
Is it a dock or half a bridge
Lol
Good save man. Good save
Thanks
Can you get a larger diameter hydraulic ram for the thumb? With a larger diameter, you will get more force from the ram without needing to increase hydraulic pressure. Increasing from a 4 inch ram diameter to a 5 inch ram diameter would increase the force by 50% with the same hydraulic pressure.
Thanks not the problem cover in a up coming video
Great job 👏 👍 👌
Thank you 👍
Excellent job very good lookin job. Thanks for your time in making the awesome vidjas
Thanks for watching
Ah, you can't beat a bit of innuendo to get you through the day 🤣🤣
Definitely inventive to get the piles hammered in 👍💪
Captain, think you should put that slogan on tee shirt 👍😎
Good job guys, drone shots put a good eye ball on alignment. Be interesting to see what’s next at that job site👍🇺🇸

lol thanks
Now i know why i have a few spare concrete dummy blocks laying around. And were right next to the ocean. We aint tryed this before. But it could be in our future operations. now that. Its. Dirt perfect approved. Lol
Your in business 😝

I was waiting for you to dump the Cot !!!! O well maybe next time. You guys are just awsome nice job.
All I can say is that Kleeman is one trusting soul............... The DIRT PERFECT aquatics program was looming largely.....................LOL
😁
That pile driving here in the northeast, no way would the piles go in, because of so many rocks in the soil. Thought you lost the cement ram a couple of times. A nail bitter. Glade it did not break in half. Fun watching the job being done. Almost like being there. Minus the need for ear and eye protection. LOL.
great use of the drone!!!
Thanks
Great job bro. Safe travels

I'll bet if you made an attachment for your rock breaking chisel you could have a nice pile driver.
Genius absolutely Genius! And everyone has dry feet!
