My Dad and I were very close as well. Food, music, and videos about food and music are what we bonded over most.
Today makes 3 years since we lost him to cancer. It's still so hard, you know, but you gotta try and be positive.
I will often sit down and watch videos about people enjoying or preparing great food like the content on your channel.
On this day of the year, I really make it a point to watch the videos that we bonded over, and this just happened to be the first video on the list.

I was inspired by the earlier video by Eric Surf 6 that he made with his elder son with its feel good family meal moment in Sushiro a few years back. I brought my wife and parents to one of Sushiro's branches when we visited Osaka for a conveyor belt Japanese sushi dinner in the year 2019. Good times. My parents have since passed away. Happy memories.

I went to Kura in Japan, never got to try Sushiro, but next year, man all that sushi looked sooooo good.
Amazing experience. My son lives in Texas, so we always stop in Dallas & enjoy Kura Sushi on the way. Japan is definitely on my bucket list & I'm gonna eat ALL the sushi! It's a foodie lovers' ultimate dream destination. I enjoy watching you & Mega eating, laughing & being genuine, it's so refreshing. As always looking forward to your next adventure.

20:32 Engawa is specifically the meat from the tail fin muscles of the Flounder. As sushi, I enjoy it for the pleasantly firm texture. 🐟

I haven’t eaten a lot is Sushi but what I have had I really enjoyed. I mostly eat it on the Cruises we take. They have a Sushi restaurant and it is delicious. What you’re eating looks very delicious. Keep up the videos.

In my humble opinion Sushiro > Kura Sushi > Sushizanmai

Trying expertly prepared interesting foods is the main reason I want to travel, and Japan is on the top of the list. Sushi, ramen, teppenyaki - all the best there. So many other things too.
