happy march!! wow how are we already here, i'm still not used to writing 2024.
this vlog i'm prepping for the new month, meeting friends, cleaning and organizing the apartment, and taking time to journal. i also have my blog up and running now! i say it's in beta form more as a coping mechanism for my perfectionism, but it's coming along :')

Be sure to run you dishwasher at least once a month so the seals don't dry out and crack. I found that out the hard way. 😫

i recommend cutting the bagels before putting them in the freezer! one time effort --> a lot easier to quickly toast and eat after that
plant rescuer here! your plant has started to root rot!! it has been watered too much and or stayed in water too much (does water accumulates at the bottom of your pot? if so, it's crucial you make sure no stagnant water stays there). for the stem that has started rotting, just cut it off, nothing can bring it back unfortunately. your plant is a hoya, it likes to dry out between waterings!
I was thinking the same thing! If the pot your Hoya is in doesn’t have a drainage hole, it might be a good idea to switch to a pot that does!

tip for 14:26 -- if you add a spoonful of cornstarch into cold water and stir it up and then slowly pour it in portions into the soup while stirring itll thicken it up :3

you can cool the pan by running cold water over the bottom! that way it doesn't damage the inside
and for the avocados you can spoon it out once you cut it in half so that you don't have to peel it

Trying putting whole milk on the leaves of your plant. Or You can also put a bit of milk in the water when watering your plant. Sounds weird but a friend of a friend owns a plant store and told my friend to this. I started doing this to my tree and it’s looking great.

Girl there’s a much easier way to take off the avocado skin!! First, cut the avocado in half with a knife. Then, remove the pit. Next, thinly slice the avocado with a knife to the thickness you want to make the fanned out avocado slices but DON’T slice through the peel. Then, use a spoon to scoop out the avocado slices making sure to push the spoon all the way around the base of the avocado before lifting out the sliced pieces. Using a spoon to do this is WAY easier. You’re welcome in advance 😊
I dont mean this to be shade but as a sincere tip, but I always rinse out the tuna can before throwing it away to avoid mishaps like that because I am the biggest klutz 😂 I also just dont like it smelling up my trash haha
Little advice darling if your pan is too hot ;) Put water in it =) The water will evaporate and chill the pan a bit so you can put your sauce in it without burning your pan >_o

Plant Help! I would try bottom watering it. Get a bowl big enough to sit it in, fill it half way with water and then place your plant in it. Leave it for 15 to 20. It looks dried out to me. Good luck!

I think your plant was overwatered. Make sure to wait in between watering until the leaves get floppy and slightly wrinkly. Then soak it. I usually water my hoyas every 2-3 weeks, but yours might dry out faster in LA.
Just wondering; why not wear a sweater/layers if you're cold instead of blasting the thermostat and wearing a t-shirt?

a bigger business card feels wasteful especially to regular customers who don’t need multiple business cards and will end up throwing them away. if a customer is buying from your shop they know how to contact you. it seems like a business card would only be useful if your products are being gifted? would it be less wasteful to print your business info on the box? i don’t know how costly it would be or if that’s possible plus there are times where you use envelopes and not boxes.
