The X-T10 is one of my favourite cameras. Fujifilm got the body just right first time with this model (as they also did with the X-T10, hence why all your hand grips fit the 10,30 and 30. The XTrans II sensor is gorgeous especially when shooting colour, and 16mp is more than enough for any print one is going to make to put in your sitting room. Matched with a small prime the handling is just great. I am tempted by the X-T50 though, but not as an upgrade, but rather as a complementary camera. I would like to see what tonality the new sensor produces and IBIS would be a useful addition. I will wait until they hit the shops though to see what they feel like in hand. I was not impressed by the feel of the X-T5. It felt unbalanced and bulky compared to the original X-T1(which I also still have and love).
The Reason I purchased the XT50 was because I love it lol as far as cost goes for people coming to the platform of Fujifilm the Used market might be the best however I am coming from A7III Full Frame and I got to shoot on a friends Fuji XH2 and I loved how it felt, the colors, etc so when I sold my Sony my goal was to get a camera that encouraged me to pick it up and explore with it, including Film Sims, the size its self is much smaller then my A7III. The Charcoal color also is beautiful and currently only have the NEW version of 16-50 at 2.8-4.8 which IMO is pretty good and the 75mm Viltrox. Buy whatever makes you enjoy shooting and after doing so many content creation style projects on my A7III it just felt a little stale and boring. Great camera all around just for my photography goals and endeavors I wanted to switch it up a bit and if for some reason I don't see it as a good long term fit at least I wont have much of an issue holding its value.
also have the xt10 and i love the sensor on it, very sharp and beautiful colors , specially combined with the 23 f2.. perfection.. also beautiful with the 56 f1.2
Oh no... another influencer making old Fujifilm expensive. Here at SE Asia, those goes around $300 for a fixer upper quality with working sensor and around $400 for a decent body. I completely agree with you on how worth it getting 8 to 9 year old camera
XT20 or 30 would be better IMO. I changed from an XT1 and XT10 to two XT3, to have the same body and because of video. I was surprised that the image quality was quite a bit better on the XT3.
It's same on G7 to GH4 in Lumix camera. The SOOC just a bit better. Plus engineering just can't evolve that fast, so in marketing point they have to launch something "different" no matter how stuck their R&D team.
man dude i've been looking for an X-T1 , X-E2 & even the X-T10 and here in the US they're going for like $400 - $600 now.. i remember i use to be able to snag them for $250
@@boradoesphoto i think where i went wrong is i'd buy a XT1 to save income for certain bills ..etc. then instead of just keeping it id upgradte my camera and get rid of it. i managed to pull in an XT1 about 4 times at $250 before the prices shot up. maybe this is just a loss ill have to take.
You still did not explain, why you prefer the XT 10 over the XT 20 although its basically the same body with superior sensor ( X - Trans III: better AF, more Settings for Film Recipees, higher MPX count, 4K video etc. ) So your point does not even make sense.
I have the XT20 and I have nothing but love for the XT double digit series! It's a shame the XT50 is so expensive.
Tbh double the price lol fuji wtf. XT50 looks super ugly too...

It costs a fraction of the cost of a new XT50. Good choice if you ask me. I got the XT30II and am very happy with it.

That's why I keep until today my X-T10 and my X-PRO1 !!!
Both are amazing with their sensors and ergonomics ❤
