ain't no way, had my light come on about 2 weeks ago and was a P0420. Just cleared the code and have put around 600 miles on it since and still hasn't turned back on. Also i heard some good things about the kinetix high flow cats assuming it is cats which it is most of the time when you get the P0420. I've heard those cats you don't have to get a tune to remove your check engine and it's pretty easy just to bolt on I'd def give them a look. They sound pretty nice too and are pretty cheap especially if you put them on yourself.
I know exactly what it is just had the same problem. First spark plugs and coil pack for rough idle. When gas is being consumed like that . Bank 1 sensor 1 is o2 sensor. Change that and you’ll be good .

PO420 means that the drivers cat isn't doing it's job correctly. Needs new cat. I bought a $150 ebay one.
