imagine how much money people could have saved and how many scars would not have existed if they had consulted a Dermatologist immediately. my greatest lesson learned is that cosmetic products are just add-ons that you can add to the gold standard. i tried many products out there, but they only worsened my problem, and this is when i consulted. trust me, our skin's end game is always dermatology, so please consult asap to save money and your skin.💗
Actually minsan when i suggest a consultation, ang tingin ng iba gusto lng namin kumita. Thats why sinasabi ko hindi naman kailangan sa akin mag consulta- any expert in skin is ok! 🙏🏻
I ruined my.flawless skin listening to all dermatologist in youtube and buying and trying all.the pelriducts their mention not.l minding my skin is super sensetive and now I'm sticking back to Dove sensitive and cetaphil bar. No need for anything
Good day po!magkano po ang magpa consult sa inyo?gusto ko po kasi magpa consult.san po banda ang clinic nyo?
More of this doc!
Thank youuuuu🤗🤗🤗
Thanks Doc Gail for this video! You are one of the people I look up to since I am an aspiring dermatologist as well.
Yaaay! Go go go! Soon we will be colleagues 🥰🥰
For my skin regimen, I only use three products: sunblock in the morning, mild cleansers, and tretinoin 0.025% in the evening. This has been my daily routine for almost 15 years. I do not use toners, acids, scrubs, etc. I would say my skin looks better compared to my high school and college batchmates. I am 39 years old, and I am often mistaken for an intern or college student. Perhaps it is also due to my genes.
Yes, true :) i have patients who also just do the basics and still have great skin. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻☺️
Salamat din sa tiwala at support 🤗🥰
Can't wait for this.
Yay! 🤗🙏🏻
Another informative video, Thank you Doc! Looking forward for more content ❤
Yaaaay! Thank you 🤗
GANDA SO MUCH NI DOC!!!
Thank you, Jorel 🙏🏻🤗
Thank you again doc! Sometimes, when we don't have opportunity to visit a derm, at least we still learn general knowledge from you means a lot!
That’s my goal! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks sa tiwala at support! :)
@@irenegaile you're welcome doc❤🥹 hope to consult you in person in the future ❤❤
Personally Skincare works for me. Before I started skincare parating naka maximum ang beauty filter ko sa camera phone. I was surprise that after just few weeks of using korean skincare napaka minimal na ng difference sa mukha ko between with filter and none. I didn't expect to notice the result. I love korean skincare, they are tolerable, especially their toners. Noon kc every time I use moisturizers I feel burning sensation, my face feels so hot tapos parang ipinapawis ko lang ang moisturizer hnd sya nag a adhere sa face ko but with thin formulations of korean toners I'm able to deposit good skincare ingredients and actives in my face without the greasy feel.
DOC GAILE, SOBRANG GANDA MO NAMAN PO. HUHU Grabe ang visual parang Miss Universe 💖💖💖
HHaha may event kasi ako nujg gabi, naisip namin para sulit yung make up, mag shoot na dn ng YT video 😁😁
I am so frustrated/confused with all the skincare products out there. I recently decided to focus more on skincare and stopped using foundation ( I still use blush and that’s about it). A few years ago I started using “clean, green, natural skincare and beauty” this RUINED my skin!!! Using oils (jojoba, coconut, marula etc.) I developed closed comedones!! Or malezzia, not sure. I found a blog on this and started using a 5% urea moisturizer from the brand Malezia and it cleared it and O stay away now from all triggering ingredients like oils, esters, etc. The only oil I have used without issue is Plant derived Squalene from The Ordinary. I no longer want to use a moisturizer because the Malezia one is too expensive and there is no substitute like it without the triggering ingredients and want to simplify my routine now that I have repaired my skin barrier and am not using makeup. I am planning on washing face with water and gently exfoliating at night with a muslin cloth. Using Squalene oil (2 drops in am and 7-10 at night) and the only spf my skin tolerates is a non nano zinc powder. What do you think? New subscriber!
Hahaha actually may event kasi ako that day, while waiting nag shoot na muna kami hehe
I love the set up, doc! ❤
Maiba naman heheh mej madilim lng
Salamat 🙏🏻☺️
One of my trusted derma ❤
Thank you, that means a lot 🙏🏻🤗
Dapat ito ang pinapanuod ng karamihan. 😅
Thank you so much doc
Thank you too!!!🤗🙏🏻
Yay 🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you Doc. Gaile for this video, another point kasi is Filipinos tend to be impatient sa skincare dapat may results agad after a day or weeks of using.
Yup walang magic talaga.
Yehey hehe samalat 😁😁😁
Absolutely 💯 true doc gail❤
I hope insightful ung video 🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰🥰
Doc good morning. What’s the treatment for pimples, oily textured skin. I tried AHA, BHA, PHA some by mi products, rejuvenation, niacinamide, cosrx, rice toner, cerave retinol, numbuzin and all doesn’t work for me 😢💔.. it caused me low self esteem and depression.
If you’ve tried a lot, maybe it’s time to consult so that your skin can be properly assessed :)
Naalala ko tuloy nung 13 years old Ako diretso Ako sa dermatologist nung nagka acne Ako sa Manilamed
A lot of my friends are asking me about my skin care and asking me kung ano ba daw dapat nilang gamitin. Ang lagi sinasabi consult Derma before buying anything, sacrifice na nila ung 500 to 1000 consultation fee pero sure Sila na product na gagamitin nila ay para dun talaga sa skin concern nila.
Informed choices most of the time are the best 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@irenegaile and it's sad Doc, kasi most of the time mas marami pang views ung mga influencer aka content creator kesa sa mga Derma. Nothing against them naman kasi marami din naman Ang magagaling talaga and ung ganitong problema Hindi lang sa skin care kahit sa ibang medical concern.
❤❤❤
Absolutely true, ako din doc dami ko ng nasubukan bec of some influencer that claiming its a magic😂. But i decided to consult a board certified dermatologist and it help me a lot. Even not magic pero na calm ang skin ko. Thanks doctora candava ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing!! 🤗🙏🏻
Dra can you pls recommend an oral sunblock ? Thanks po
I have trouble believing influencers when they endorse skincare kasi:
1) they don't have the expertise.
2) kadalasan, kadarating lang nung skincare PR package nila tapos may review agad, they didn't even use the item/s for a number of days/weeks. Okay sana if it's just makeup that they are reviewing.
3) I find that it promotes overconsumption. Mostly sa napapanood ko on social media they make the viewers feel like they absolutely need whatever they are promoting. Over the years I have reduced my skincare to just a few items, and my skin really thanked me for it.
Agree! Especially #3, which is the whole point of my video. Only buy what your skin needs and products you will really benefit from 🙏🏻
Doc, next content idea po, are all skincare created Equal? Imported Vs local drugstore brands Dito satin. Lalo na sunscreen and retinols.
Preservation din po, or ano po effects pag naiinitin sila during shipping.
No, they are not. But more than skincare being all different, iba iba din ung reaction ng skin ng iba’t ibang tao depending on many factors. :)
Totoo yan doc! Talagang dapat maging discerning tayo sa pagpili ng information na ididigest because content creators who do not have the same intentions as you do end up being predators of other people’s insecurities for their own (monetary) benefit.
Another problem is yung iba namang may authority sa field tapos misinformation naman i.e. may dermatologist na fearmongerer, may licensed physician assistant na nagsasabing di maganda ang moisturizer, etc. Madaling mapapaniwala ang mga tao dahil sa authority bias and it leads to an even bigger challenge for us because of these irresponsible creators.
One thing I remember na mas nuanced sa Philippines is yung nagsabi si Dr Belo na di daw sya believer ng moisturizer sa Philippines. The information was blown out of proportion to the point na need iclarify kung anong ibig sabihin ni doc. Ang hirap kasing iexplain ang nuances ng advice using a limited amount of time. I think Dr Belo meant na hydration is important but achievable through other means (especially in a humid environment like the Philippines) like sunscreen, etc.
Not to namedrop po. The intent was to prove a point about how people in positions of power and authority should be held at a higher standard for the things that they say.
Super duper agree. I cant say din for a fact na lahat ng “experts” paniwalaan agad. Kahit ako i welcome questions and im always open to learning and being corrected if necessary.
Isa pa to. 1-2 mins is often not enough time to properly explain everything, which makes some topics oversimplified or lacking info making them prone to misinterpration.
Thank you for these 🤗🤗
@@irenegailethank you po doc ❤
alamo doc ako never ako nawalan ng trust and faith sa mga dermatologists kahit sa totoo lang wala papo nakakagamot sa eczema ko sa face, puro topical and oral steriods mostly and may bad side effects talaga. paulit ulit na ganun, pero ayoko mawalan ng pag asa na 1 day may makakatulong sakin.
Eczema kasi is really about preventing and controlling flares, although more recently may mga bagong mga gamot na called biologics. You should ask your derm about it 🙏🏻
wow ganda ng set up
Hehe thank you 🤗🙏🏻
People should understand that skincare is never one size fit all
Yeees!!
With your advise doc gail may acne use to dry and heal i am a 19 years old student i am your fan doc
I recommend a consultation :)
Doc. Can I apply retinol for my body? If yes, what retinol brand can u recommend po. Oily po face ko and currently using Beauty of Joseon eye retinal serum. Now, gusto ko pong gumamit naman for my body, have dry skin sa body but so far nagiging dewy s'ya since I'm using Vaseline gluta hya lotion, gusto ko lang po na magpaganda pa ng skin. Thank you po☺️☺️
Pwede naman but mejo pricey so ako i use exfoliating lotions at night once a day, and hydrating ones in the morning bago ako mag sunscreen.
Doc Helle Po Newbie Here. Ang Linaw mo Po Mag Paliwanag. Hala Lahat Nang Ginagawa Ko Mali lahat Na Try Ko na Mga Products Huhu 😢😢
Hello! Salamat sa pag panood and welcome to my channel 🤗🙏🏻
Doc Gail do u have a podcast on Spotify 😭?
Wala pa 😉😉😉 hopefully soon?

Matagal ko na iniisip gawin :)
Jusko ang ganda mo Dra. Ano pong clinic mo? 😭💖
Thank you. We're located at Salcedo Village, BelAir, Makati, Philippines. See you! :)
For me, yes :)
"trying everything" thats me 😂
That was me too!!🫣🫣😁😁
Dok good pm po.
Ok namn :) but you need more than a good cleanser if you want to maintain good skin :)
Thank you! You can also learn a lot from this video. :)
Doc, meron group of cert derma sa tiktok. They dont recommend using daw like papaya kojic and otger whitening. Ang totoong whitening daw is using mild soap. True ba yun doc? Actualy they recomend everwhite.
In my opinion, hindi ka dapat mag rely sa sabon to lighten your skin. Cleansers have one job- to clean the skin. Ung lightening you can achieve with sun protection kasi ung pinaka trigger ng melanin production is UV radiation exposure, then sabayan mo ng paggamit ng products with lightening ingredients - alpha arbutin, kojic acid, niacinamide, vitamin c etc.
Also, sila may ari ng everwhite :)
@@irenegaile wow i got reply from u doc. Thsnks somuch po 😘😘
Sila Doktora Tanya ba 'to? Azaki?
Good day po. Doc may online consultation poba kayo salamat po?

hello doc, new follower here, can you share some skincare tips for teens po doc pls.thankyouu😊
Teens if wala naman skin issues can just donthe basics- cleanser, moisturizer (if needed) and sunscreen. If may acne, best to consult :)
Hahha. Mejo serious kasinung topic ☺️☺️ but thank you for watching 🙏🏻🤗
Basta ako retinol, sunscreen, 5 percent niacinamide, gentle face wash, and moisturizer lang.
Basta it gives you good results 🙏🏻
Uyyy parehong pareho tayo ng nga skincare regimens na ginagamit.. same na same. From retinol, niacinamide, moistirizer and sunscreen. 😊
May I know what is your retinol/sunscreen/niacinamide and moisturizer?
@@irenegaile amazing results. Plump and walang wrinkles. Baby smooth pa rin po so far and moisturized and skin pero di oily even there are times na di ako naglalagay ng skincare products at night.
Basta sunscreen is life.
Sa gabi niacinamide serum muna then retinol then moisturizer.
Hahaha
