🚀 Grow a faceless RUclips channel like MagnatesMedia: magnates.media/youtube (Make money without having to be on camera... all from making cool videos about whatever you want!)
Hey legends, I haven’t heard anyone talk about Masayoshi Son’s crazy life story before - hopefully you’ll find it as fascinating as I did.
By the way, our video sponsor moomoo is offering such an awesome welcome bonus for MagnatesMedia viewers, so I highly recommend checking out the link below. Enjoy the free stocks/money! ;)
Try Moomoo and get up to 5 free stocks valued up to $3500 each!: j.moomoo.com/007nhD
Oh and in case anyone is confused by the title, a unicorn is the name for a company valued at a billion dollars or more. 😂🦄
P.S. Masa, if you’re watching this, MagnatesMedia could do with a few billion dollars of investment as well, so hit me up.

Too bad you didn't mention that when Masa Son was younger, and had just started Soft Bank, he helped a sushi restaurant. Near his parents' house was a small struggling sushi restaurant. Masa Son went there one day, and thoroughly enjoyed the sushi. The restaurant was struggling. He paid the owners and the staff to relocate near the Soft Bank main office because he felt they'd thrive there. He was correct. I believe it's still around as an upscale sushi place. It seems to me that Masa Son has always put his money where his mouth is.

Here's the cruel reality in the world of investing. You had one good hit, you are anointed as Gods. Like Bill Ackman, who has been losing money for like 8 yrs in a row, made on good short trade back in 2020, now he is a investment guru and a spiritual advisor. Same for Masa Son. Softbank had one, like only one good investment, and that was Alibaba. All the rest of their investment was "lack luster", to put it mildly. So moral of the story, just one good shot, and before and after that, no one cares, especially the media: they have a "talking head" they can sell, they will milk it til the kingdom comes. How well has Softbank been doing in the past like 10 years? Yeah, what do you think about Masa Son now?
