Lovely John, Greetings from Dartmoor. Like most early slope soarers I started out with an Impala but could not get it to fly right ( correctly) so I learnt on a Kamco Cloud Tutor which is similar to what you are flying....happy memories.
Could be a Kloudrider, could be a Monterey (which I always felt the Kloudrider was suspiciously similar to). EIther way it's very beautiful and just the sort of thing I like. I had a great summer out of my plans-built Monterey a long, long time ago
I had a Kloudrider. I’m pretty sure this is the Monterey. The leading edge of the Kloudrider fin met the fuselage forward of the tailplane leading edge.
I used to fly at this site a lot when we lived in W-s-M. The lift over the cliffs can be surprisingly good. And the Pub at the bottom used to be great- hope it still is. Brean Down has great, smooth lift in a Northerly or Southerly wind. Sand Point is good too.
Hi John, The model flies great. I don't recognize the design, but the scenery is beautiful. What castle is that in the background? Katherine was awesome with the camera, as usual. 🙂
cant stop watching this...its everything about England as it should be .
Wow, a ton of dihedral...it sure fly's nice :) Thanks for sharing John :)
Looks like a Monterey. Built one from a plan years ago and loved it!
Or Hite Finder. Micromold kit
Nice to see a RM Monterey. My first RC model and one day I may just get around to building a new one, but this time do a proper job.

Interesting new location. That was a nice tight loop! 😀👍🛩
Interesting model Jhon. Very quick. Nice flight. Congratulations.
It soars like a condor in the Andes!
Well done Jhon!
love it John! brings back early slope memories. On Nor Cal Pacifica Cliffs. Just didn't have Castles from times in the past. Keep doing it!
Nice one john love the church in the background.
my 1st love was a gentle lady with a cox .049 on a power pod, man id love to do this with no power required

Got it! The Kamco 'Kloudrider'. A great British kit design from the 1970's.
Agree, certainly looks like a Kloudrider to me, I've still got mine but converted it to electric 👍

@@Davyorr I think you're right Davy, the KK did have the forward fin, cheers.
Beautiful flight, location and day!

That has to be Uphill Weston Super Mare there was a Control Line field just below towards the River Axe this was in the 60,s

I’ve flown Brean Down. I must give Sand Point a go…
I too thought it looked so much like the Elmira
Wales in the distance!
The wings and the basic planform remind me of a Windfree but it's not! I currently have two of them.
A true thrill!!!
At first I thought it was an Austrian "airfish" with Jedelsky wings, but it isn't.
Super Pilote !
Ou se trouve se magnifique site de vol ?
Toujours en Cornouailles ? Salutations
Thank you. I’m now flying in Somerset

Uphill Beacon,Uphill near Weston-super-Mare. That's Brean Down in the distance which is a decent DSS site
amazing
Halcyon?
👍👍👏👏
I don't see where it say what glider this is, it does look like a Monterey but it also looks like a Windrifter.
I’m not sure what glider it is..
What's the AUW?
👍💪✌
Is it an Elmira.....?....🤔🤔😳😏🇬🇧
It’s quite a bit smaller than an Elmira
Cirrus 75 ?
Monterey
Looks like a cirrus but the
75 has a T-tail
@@jasmijnariel ok
@@aleksamilic4160 I was thinking Monterey too, but wasn't sure - are you sure it is?
@@leifvejby8023 Look at Outerzone, there is a plan.
But it's blue! Why is it blue?
Sailplane camouflage. 😂

That's what I'm saying.
