  • I have no ties to Shapertool, so you can trust that this is my genuine take on the Shaper Trace compared to tracing directly in Lightburn, which I’m also not affiliated with. As the designer behind MiMoDesignLaserfiles (MiMoDesignLaserfiles.etsy.com & AllStarsDesign.com), I’ve been crafting laser-cut files with Lightburn since 2021. I picked up the Shaper Trace, drawn in by its potential for my hand-drawn art and its cool single line function. I’m not sure if it’ll be my go-to tool, but it could be a game-changer for you! Lightburn has an incredibly good tracing tool, much better that even Illustrator has, so, if you have Ligtburn, you don't need any other tracing tool, but, if you don't have lightburn, this Shaper Trace tool maybe helpful

That was my conclusion too, but it is great for single line tracing and exact measurements, since you can’t do that in Lightburn

I have lightburn as well, but it seems like the shapertool will do parallax correction and scale it exactly. Does lightburn do that?
