Coming from a dancer who had to move to a different state from a good group of wonderful dancers and best friends it is really sad moving on and being more stressed as you move on.But to me dance makes me feel like I’m free and I always think “I didn’t come this far to stop now” and it pushes me to keep going even though it’s stressful and keeps getting harder. I believe you should do what you want to do as long as your happy.And I am still really really young but mature enough to know that I still have so much time time to decide what I want to do but right now in the moment dance will always be my way escape even if it’s stressful itself 😊❤

That is exactly how I feel on my dance team right now, I’m treated like shit, always put in the back but I love dancing and i went a whole 3 years without dancing, that was the worst mentality state I’ve ever been in and I don’t wanna go back, but I love and hate the dance team and UGHHH I keep saying imma quit or “this will be my last performance till I find better opportunities” “after this I’m quitting” but I’ve been saying that since December and it’s February 😭 like I really don’t wanna quit but clearly everyone on the dance team wants me to quit and I thought I was really good friends with the co captain like outside practice we always talk (I mean it’s really just her talking about how much she loves her boyfriend then they start kissing in front of me… for a while and I just stand there but during practice she doesn’t even talk to me, she like completely forgets our “friendship” like ? What the fuck am I embarrassing?? Or? Everyone is so fake on that team

A lot of people are saying that Maddie’s face looks tired and not as happy it could be the style of dance to because a lot of the dances she did were lyrical or contemporary witch are darker so she’s not gonna have a happy face for those dances

It’s kinda sad because the same thing happened to brook. Brook was the favorite then she got tired of dance. No one ever said why but maybe what happened with brook happened to Maddie. It’s also sad because you can see through the seasons how drained she looks. Even through the smile you can see it in her eyes. Just like how brook would fake smile in her solos that’s what Maddie was doing
