I return to the Belgium High Fens on New Years Eve for one final landscape photographic shoot of 2016. The temperatures have dropped and we are now in a winter cold snap. This large patches of ice and frost but incredibly clear blue skies and a golden sunrise give skies with beautiful pink hues. Join me on this shoot as look for compositions…

There are a lot of photographers on youtube but i only following three of them couse in my opinion they give the most inspiration, and the best tips. Also give these three a really good image of the work in the field. What you see is what you get. And you are one of those three.... Thanks for sharing al these videos.

Nice job. Photography seems so easy when you are doing it. You have inspired me to also shoot these kind of flat landscapes. Thanks

Fascinating video and landscape, very enjoyable with some excellent shots. You are brilliant at finding excellent shots in what could almost be a barren landscape, especially the icy gully as the leading line into the trees, I don't mind admitting I would have probably walked straight past that one. As always a brilliant video, and thank you for those you have made over the last year, I think I've seen them all. I hope 2017 is a fantastic year for you.

Thanks for the kind words Mark, and for checking back in to watch the videos on my channel. All the best for 2017.

Very nice video with some wonderful light - I'm far from an experienced photographer "still learning" but found lying down behind the tripod fixes the shadow thing :)

Thanks for the comment! Indeed one of the advantages of using a timer trigger on camera means I can walk away from the tripod and my shadow out of the frame.
