Lingering Will did infact have a cape in during KH2 😅 This still doesn't change my theory as Aqua and Ven peeviously had no cape but now do. Plus I ask you to watch that final scene of the wayfinder trio and you'll see how the tones are similar. I have no idea how I missed that 😅 this feels like a Mendela effect to me. I even checked before posting and the cape wasn't there.
Also just to clarify I know we already "know" who the people are in the KH1 and 2 secret endings. What I'm saying is I think there's a good chance these are going to be revisited and have a new meaning. My apologizes if I didn't make that clear in the video.

I mean that could be right but in the KH4 trailer in the scene with the 2 hooded figures you can't actually see anything of their face. In fact, the trailer ends on a closeup on one of the two hooded figures, and everything is black, we don't see any skin or whatever. If you ask me, the hooded figure on the rooftop is either MoM and the skin shown is not that important, or it's someone else and they purposely showed us this closeup on the KH4 trailer so we know that there is a difference between these 2 characters. If the character on the rooftop is indeed not MoM, Ava could be a good candidate.

8:21 the lost two could be Sora and Riku (in Quadratum) memory of Xehanort could be either his waypoint to Sora in Quadratum or just his research on finding out about Quadratum and chasers could be Sora's friends looking for him?
I'm hoping the Yozora stuff gets to branch off into a "Hearts Like" game series that square has full control over.
What is Hearts Like? I'm definitely hoping Verum Rex can eventually be its own series.
The capes thing was explained. The engine of bbs couldn’t handle the capes physics for psp.
That was my assumption on what that was about. My question would still be, why bring the capes back now?

@@CerberusUnlikeMike At the end of Terra's story his armor just magically grows a cape in the final cutscene. So it's just kind of understood that they always had capes on their armor. Lingering Will does have its cape in both the cutscene and boss fight in KH2 as well.

You underestimate Nomura’s insanity
I see those scenes more as concept ideas of the final product. They are mostly draft. For the capes, they were always there since there first appearance. It is mostly because of the PSP limited power that they could not animate them well enough to make them look real for the game. In 2.5, since the PS3 have more power, we see the cape appears at the end of Terra’s story.
So the world that never was I say is very very much the direct influence for quadratum to be made in KH 4 . I mean common. The semi modern city that hasn’t been seen before is in kh2 … then in melody of memory they say that xehanort was aware of quadratum and must have travelled there before.
Why would xemnas make the world that never was , a city that doesn’t exist.
Same can be said with quadratum being a inspiration from versus 13.
They’re all connected.

Also the shadow figure in kh1 for the secret ending is marluxia for chain of memories ending .
And the kh2 roxas ending we unlock in kh1 , is just a conceptual cutscene for kh2 . It literally shows all the ansem reports happening at once . The meteor shower, the heartless , the nobody, And the 13 report numbers marking the organization members. And yes it has been confirmed that it is Kairi .

Yes, I think these secret endings were just conceptual pieces but I think whats going on is they are returning to old things and adapting more to it. Like the girl that was Kairi's concept could be turned into a new character.

If you pause the secret ending to kh1 it calls sora the source of all heartless. So seeing as the game was early the concepts of soras endgame were present. So if we know he is the one to open the door and the source of heartless. Then that makes sora the reincarnation. Of the original weilder of the x-blade. Seeing as he materialized a keyblade that's super important. To the x-blade. That means sora was either a reincarnated weilder like xehanort. Or just the light of kh itself reincarnated. What if the mom. Turned kh into something else to move it. Now he is present in quadratim. With mom who wants to open kh in unreality. This is gonna result in the heartless moving away from the real world into unreality. But only sora can open the real door
Lingerign Will actually did have his cape in II. The reason they were omitted from bbs was because of the graphics like you said. But the cape DOES come back in the 2.5 remix version of bbs final mix. And they did bring em back for III. I really feel like we should have seen them more in their armor and also I really wanted Sora to get armor.

I completely agree that the two Yozora scenes feel likely they are both going to appear at some point in KH4.
One of my theories is that because of MoM or whatever villain is doing things in Unreality, that the whole side of Unreality is dying. A kind of...we get to see what happens when Kingdom Hearts is truly summoned and the Guardians are not able to save the world kind of thing. And because of that Sora is going to open the door between Unreality and Reality and save all the people that are still living in Unreality and give them a home in the World that Never Was. So the meteor shower being drifters actually could make a lot of sense. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Riku in that scene was a Darkness taking his form. After all I am fairly sure their is one running around. In Recoded it shows Riku leaving the Destiny Islands twice, the second Riku I am almost sure is a Darkness who has been running around in Riku's form ever since.
I don't think it's Kairi. I think it's Nameless Star. Even in the earliest trailers of KH1, there have been lines like "where is Sora?" which honestly makes me think that they have been planning this Unreality thing from the very beginning. Not exactly the way that it ended up, but it's been on their minds since the start. Likely it had to be put off because Versus Thirteen never came out. Even the title "Another Side, Another Story" makes me think that this Reality and Unreality thing was always a part of their idea for the series. Xehanort, Ansem the Wise, and MoM/or Luxu might have been originally the same character which explains their parallels, and the Ansem, Ansem thing. However I do think that very early on after KH1 they each become their own characters.
Ok Hair color for Namine, Xion, and Vanitas. Namine I think is the easiest. Why was she born in Castle Oblivion? Well when she was born what did she have out of a mind, body, or soul? She didn't have a heart, though she did grow one really fast during CoM, maybe even before CoM. She didn't have a body, Sora give his body to Roxas and was likely a heart without a body until Roxas returned it to him, and Kairi still had hers. She had the echo of a mind/soul which seems to be the easiest to either spilt into pieces, or make from scratch. However a echo of a Mind isn't really enough to exist, even Terra's had to bind itself with his armor. I think that Kairi's echo found its way into one of Vexen's replica's and become Namine. It explains why she was born in Castle Oblivion, why her main color is white. Her blonde hair was either her closeness to Ventus, trying to blend in with the whiteness of the castle, or just not having the substance for a darker color at first. Then afterwards keeping it blonde because that was how she saw herself. So yeah blonde fits her themes very well.
As for Xion and Vanitas having black hair. Xion a lot more then Namine was trying to become more then an echo and over all was doing so. So at least on a theme level her having black hair fits. Actually for Vanitas being a pure darkness black hair also fits him. As for a physical reason to have black hair I don't really have anything for Vanitas but with Xion part of her data might have come from Subject X, who rumor has it has dark hair.
There actually is a scene where Roxas has a flashback to the first seven days of his life where he and Xemnas where at the Dark Margin. Talking about Xemnas going to see Sora in KH1 as the Unknown secret boss. That said I am very much not against the idea of this being a different character all together the fact that Roxas and the unknown character with a heartless symbol showing up on the same still later on.
As for the "he looks a lot like you" Sora and Roxas if you are looking only at their eyes and noses on the save screen actually do look a lot alike. That said, Xemnas as a Nobody of Xehanort and Terra was very insane. In the Japanese he had at least two different ways of speaking maybe three. I'm not completely sure I can explain it well as an English speaker, but apparently it's really clear in the Japanese version that Xemnas had something wrong with him. Some of the Japanese theories from what I have heard during the time before BBS already thought he had Multiple personalities. Xigbar being unusually close in several scenes in KH2 also made it clear that something was off about him as well even that early.
Where was I going? Oh yeah the "he looks a lot like you" the fact that Xemnas was not all there it's very possible that he honestly didn't see Roxas at all, or was mixing up memories and people which is something that Xemnas did all the time. Those switches in voice could even happen from one line to another in the same scene. It's even possible that he thinks he is talking to Ventus and is talking about Roxas or, that he thinks he is talking to Yozora and is talking about Sora.
Also I really like your theory about the three hooded people being the same person is very cool. Not sure who I think it would be. The fact that the heart shape doesn't have the cross of the Heartless Emblem does hint at it maybe being more connected to characters like Riku, and Vanitas who also have that symbol without the cross. Though with the destruction of Way to Dawn Riku no longer really is connected to that shape and instead has the more simple heart shape from is Station of Awakening.
@@hillaryslack2884 Dang I LOVE your idea with Unreality and Reality mixing! The drifters coming into The World That Never Was would be such a cool scene to see. One of the Darkness taking on the form of Riku could also explain why in KH3 when Riku is swollowed by the Demon Tide in the Relm of Darkness, his hair changes randomly from long to shorter. I have to rewatch that ReCoded scene 😮
Totally could have had this planned from rhe start. I never even considered how not getting Verses 13 could have screwed up plans for the KH series. The Another Side Another Story title was giving me heave Reality Unreality vibes too. A parallel between MoM and Ansem the Wise would be great cause I always felt like Ansem the Wise feels flat to me when he should feel like a much bigger character for the story.
I didn't think about their hairs were just a theme choice but that makes so much sense. I feel dumb 😂
Wow I did not know that about Xemnas! Now I have to watch the japanese cutscenes. Why did they not do that with him in the english realease? That would have made his charcter so much more intresting.

I am not at all sure how there being a Darkness in the form of Riku makes his hair cut make sense. It's more like at any time a second Riku likely one that looks a bit younger can show up and do things. There are theories out there that say that the Riku in Big Hero Six is a different Riku then the one in the Graveyard. As they seem to have slightly different fears and motivations. Plus that interaction with Maleficent has a much different ring if that is a Darkness instead of Riku Replica.
MoM and Ansem the Wise already have a lot of parallels. They are both teacher/father figures that disappear on their students/children. They are both thought of as Wise. They are both scientist rather then fighters. They both use others to get things done rather then do things themselves.
There is no reason to feel dumb. Nothing about your video made you seem that way. Plus it is very possible that there is a black haired person affecting Sora and in turn Xion and Vanitas. It's just impossible to know or make good theories about it right now because of a lack of evidence. Which is why just expecting the theme reasons feels more complete right now. However KH tends to have both theme and physical reasons for things. So yeah don't feel dumb, just also don't worry about hair color.
It's much easier to do the voice trick in Japanese because of the way Japanese works. Plus the KH English has done much worst translation bumps then Xemnas. I saw a PDF once where someone had taken every line he had spoken and color coded it for which tone he was using at the time. However I doubt I would be able to find it again.

I never heard anyone bring up the cape and confidence ideas to the BBS ending but I think the fact that that when they did meet up initially with eachother and they weren't in armor and they found those 3 specific blades also support your idea.
It always struck me as odd that these scenes aren't one to one when they get adapted into the game (like a teaser typically does) but they go through such lengths to incorporate as much as possible from them makes me think you're right about them being revisits from the future
1:43 Interesting thought process, but sadly Nomura blows this out of the water.
After getting questioned by an interviewer what meaning the both endings had and if one of the two was canon, he said the only reason for the bad ending was so people got to see something even when they lost, since Yozora is just that hard.
I mean, maybe they still changed their minds and did something with it, but even in the data files the one ending where we win is labeled as the True ending, if I'm not mistaken.
I'm all for speculation, but discussing whether or not both scenes play a role for the future games seems rather like a waste of time after getting confirmation by the man himself
@@silvsora Yeah I'm aware of the interview now. And I still believe its possible we still see both. There are some of us who take interviews for Kingsom Hearts with a grain of salt because things do change and developers will lie, misdirect or stretch the truth to not spoil things.
As far as the speculation part I will leave you this quote with an interviewer to Nomura:

In the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts 2 the villains is Masters Xehanort and Vanitas.

Dude on the far left is probably Xemnas. Roxas was probably meant to look like Sora originally (going off of the basic nobody lore). Xemnas already has a connection with Ventus through Terra and the fact he was looking for him.
"He looks just like you" could now refer to Ventus, like how Braig and Xemnas allude to in KH2 (either intentionally by Nomura, or later added to fit, idk how Nomura does it 😂).

Secret Endings are mostly early concept ideas and are not set to be directly worked like they are shown. Roxas having a Heartless symbol was before Nobodies were invented.
Yozora's ending scene where you lose was made for people to get a reward even if they can't defeat Yozora. So it is probably not canon.
The capes from the BBS trio could not be made because of PSP Limitations but Lingering will spawns at the end one just to preserve continuity of the actual Lingering Will design in KH2.
It is confirmed that in the KH3 Secret ending the Person is the Master of Masters and it is confirmed that the girl on the island is supposed to be Kairi.
Your quote you found which isn't used was used in a different tone by Riku in KH2: "If this is what the world really is- just this."
You will not find any details about this in the games though since secret endings are not canon. They are only teasers to future games. If you want answers to that you should look up the Nomura Interviews where he talks about stuff like this occasionally.
So I do know all of this. Minus The Master of Masters being confirmed to be the one who was at the end of KH3. If you can help me out where was this confirmed? Cause I can't find anything right now and I'd really appreciate where I can find it.
I understand that the secret endings are very conceptual. What I'm theorizing and speculating is that they might be returning to these for a future game, that is all.

Tbh ive usually thought of the secret endings more like concept arts or ptiches for the future title which is why we get discrepancies rather than seeing the scene again 1 for 1 as it was in the secret ending

as a expert of the kh i can say that is maybe possibile: because all the secret end cutscene spolied a certain cutscene from a future game for example kh2 secret end spoil BBS YEARS BEFORE BBS WAS RELEASED so i think that some details were changed in these cutscene during the development of these game (other example originally kh1 secret ending it had no meaning and just a cool scene that nomura had come up with .but nomura actually planned the whole lore from the begging : so it wont be weird if these cutscene where planned for kh4 YEARS BEFORE so is theory may actually make sense

Interesting... the thing that is kind of selling me on this is the guy with the glowing eye + heartless symbol. I never really noticed the heartless symbol before, and I've never seen anyone else mention it either. And, as you said, Sora and Roxas look nothing alike. So, it would make sense for that to actually be someone completely different. >_>
BTW, I actually thought you were going to suggest that all of the secret endings were actually KH game trailers in Quadratum or something. Kind of like how the Toy Story world had a game trailer for Verum Rex. I think it was the thumbnail that made me jump to that weird conclusion. XD
I've seen like 1 or 2 people in the past mention the heartless symbol before. But I haven't seen anyone else mention how Kairi is on the screens in that trailer. I wish I just added a picture to show you guys.

I could be remembering this incorrectly but I thought the Master of masters alluded to Luxu being his waypoint to the future. So if he was Luxu it would be easy for him to take his body back.

I think the realm of darkness scene is supposed to be when Roxas meets Xehanort in 358/2 Days. But the character acts with too much confidence to be Roxas in that scene. Obviously Roxas’ personality was probably changed in development between KH1 and KH2 lol. I do think they can retroactively make that be someone else now.

Metamorphosis is what the Darkness do when they attach to people. See The Ancient Darkness that becomes Vanitas and creates a new Form of Darkness.

My head canon is that when Roxas and Namine were created, it happened in layers.
Sora's heart (that houses Ventus' and Kairi's) was released first, and Kairi's was released from that (Ventus was never released and was the last layer, hence Roxas looks like Ventus, and Namine has Ventus' hair color through Roxas). Roxas and Namine are basically siblings, both being part Ventus.
I personally think the woman in the left side of the thumbnail for the kh1 secret ending was supposed to be Kairi ms original look for kh2 she’s dressed pretty similar to her kh1 look, plus she’s on the islands alone how she was left in kh1
Also, sorry to tell you man but your memories all fuzzy. The scene where he says “I’ve been to see him” is actually in days, as well as the flashbacks in kh2 in roxas portion of the game where they show parts from days. The person you keep saying you think isn’t roxas isn’t supposed to be roxas lol. That’s Xemnas and that’s exactly what he says in the game. Same reason when you look at the part and you say it’s confusing why they show roxas then riku then roxas again, it’s cause it’s not. It’s Xemnas, riku and roxas. I will say tho I never noticed the heartless symbol on Xemnas chest in that scene so that was pretty interesting that you pointed that out
100% my memory is fuzzy. Thats why I'm currently replaying the series. I think the girl has potential to be adapted to. I thought Xemnas was the one sitting on the rock?
I been trying to figure this out since 2 came out lol. MOM could be yozora or sora but not really. Don’t the game mention stealing looks in yozora world? Nice thought to look at the secret scenes I didn’t think of them except the 3rd game. Just a bit of proof, yozora says “this isn’t what I normally look like” or something similar. then you say as I type, could be dream delving for info and when u introduce that it becomes hard to figure out what real 😅 so hard to figure out. U did say metamorphosis as well so maybe something here? Good luck!

I’m guessing that they were yozora, the nameless star girl, and the guys from the Verum Rex trailer, among others.
They had weapons and skills, but they were probably no match against the darkness.
Which… might be why quadratum’s enemies, an opposing counsel of 13 turned to darkness in order to win the battle.
I base it on parallels. The nature of the sleeping worlds, the data worlds, and the things that the characters have done so far.
Maybe, the master in Quadratum, isn’t the current master, but a sleeping master… a master waypoint. A version that may be responsible for the first kingdom hearts… which was why he had his sights on the moon.🤔

Good lord. Do even the SMALLEST amount of research first. I'm gonna comment as the video goes, so I can mention everything you made up and got wrong. Also, this is long obviously, since nearly everything you said was just..wrong, but just know, I already can see the "Not reading all that", and I just wanna say if you ARE like that, and wouldn't bother reading it, then you don't really care about the series. Or else you'd like to know the ACTUAL real facts, instead of staying delusional. So if that's what you wanna do, don't read it, I don't care. I'm just putting it out there that literally everything you said was 100% wrong, or you made it up.
-So while we don't have confirmation yet, the first part, the one at the KH3 secret ending, putting a heart to the moon, that person's mannerisms are basically the way Master Of Masters moves around. No one else has his mannerisms at all. So it's very likely him.
-The 2 endings in the Yozora battle have already been confirmed in an interview that winning is the canon ending. The lose ending was just something they added in for the player to see because they knew we'd all lose first. But it's been confirmed that the winning scene is the only one that is canon.
-The KH2 secret ending, I can understand where you are coming from, but it's just a teaser dude. You can literally see Xehanort walking up to them. This is not going to be possible in the future games. Xehanort is gone. If something happens to Sora Riku and Kairi where their keyblades end up in the graveyard, it has to be far after Xehanort is long gone, so you're theory here is impossible. Also, "They got their capes back" has nothing to do with it. They were always meant to have them. The only reason they don't in the game, is cuz it was on PSP, and they were unable to make it work with the capes rendered. It messed up rendering and caused problems. They didn't "get them back" they were supposed to always have them. It's just a hardware issue. This is why I said "do the smallest amount of research first" because this is a very well known thing that you can easily find out. you're just making VERY uneducated guesses, and rolling with them. I get that you did bring this up as a possibility, but this means you guessed. You didn't even bother looking it up first. So that alone breaks that entire thing apart. And again, it's not "bringing them back now". They were ALWAYS meant to be there. They aren't "back" because they were never supposed to be gone to begin with. Basically it was a "We couldn't do it, so just pretend they are there" thing. Again, you're just making assumptions and going with that. Stop that. And np, that shadowy figure in the background isn't the same as the person in KH3's secret ending. It's friggin Xehanort but they haven't fully designed him yet.
-The KH1 secret ending is literally just when Riku intercepts Roxas as he's leaving the Org, when he takes him to DiZ to put him in the digital Twilight Town. That's all. There's nothing else here. It's literally just the thing we see in Days. They just made it flashy here because Days wasn't even a thought at that point. So they redesigned it to work as a fight on the DS. Of COURSE none of that flashy stuff happened, it's a friggin DS. It CAN'T do all that. Holy good lord you even brought up the girl. THAT'S FRIGGIN KAIRI! SHE IS NOT A DIFFERENT PERSON! That's her ORIGINAL KH2 design before they changed her. Good lord. Again, do even the smallest amount of research PLEASE! Jesus, "A nice way to explain why Vanitas and Xion have black hair". PLEASE for the love of god! Vanitas has black hair because he's basically pure darkness. Wow. Wild I know. And Xion has black hair to stand out from the others. She is a mix of Kairi and Sora basically, because she's the memories Sora has of Kairi. But she's "a bad guy cuz she's in the org, the bad guys oooooo!". Also, again, you can just friggin GOOGLE THIS. Quote "Xion's hair color was a request by Kanemaki as she desired to see Nomura make a girl with black hair". A direct copy/paste. RESEARCH SOMETHING, ANYTHING, PLEASE! And Namine has lighter hair because she was also made when Sora and Ven's hearts also came out of Sora. So she looks different than kairi. She's specifically blonde, just because. There's no lore reason.
-after this, "I don't think is Roxas". Well that sucks. Cuz it is. This same scene happens in KH2. It's when he is meeting with Xemnas. When he says "I have been to see him. He looks a lot like you". That is literally what this scene leads to. And we KNOW it's Roxas and Xemnas. It's been confirmed. This happens after the Unknown fight in KH1, the only secret boss added to FM, where you fight Xemnas in the portal in the room where you fought Maleficent. He's telling Roxas that he went to go see Sora. And during that time, in the cutscene he phased through Sora, and that was when he took a sample of his momories to create Xion. And the reason the little heartless emblem shows up on his chest in the scene you're watching, is because Nobodies weren't a thing yet. This is called changing things. it happens all the time. All the design things you are trying your hardest to use as proof of things, just why? So what they didn't add the hair, they made his eye glow, and the zipper was in a slightly different position? Again, they just change things as they go when designs aren't finalized yet. That's literally super normal. Wait.."This scene doesn't happen"? What are you talking about? They just changed it so he came out of a portal in literally the EXACT same spot when it's the Roxas meeting Xemnas scene. How are you this bad at this. Wait. It's unclear to you if he's actually going to Quadratum? They LITERALLY say he is being transported there. Her star is a portal basically, that can get him there with a little magical help. Are you just half paying attention? Roxas switching the keyblade hands after throwing to Riku and parts during this scene being different? Yea, that's called making changes. They just decided to make it slightly different. That's an early version of the fight, and they felt some small adjustments made more sense. That has nothing to do with anything. Why the hell did you throw up quotes when you said "Roxas"? That IS Roxas. There's no need to speculate. Who cares if he has Kingdom Key D in this scene. They ended up changing that becasue obviously he isn't going to have it in Days during the actual fight. They just CHANGED it. That's all. There's nothing to speculate here. "Why would they show Roxas twice?" Because he showed up twice in different scees and they are showing the important parts in those scenes? So what?
-And there we go at the end. You can LITERALLY see the scene where Roxas and Xemnas talk, and you can see it's the SAME one that came from the rocks. No bangs. We KNOW this is Roxas for sure because we know that's him in this dialog scene, because it's been confirmed. This model being the same as the one coming from the rock is literal proof that that one is ALSO Roxas. Also yes, Roxas DOES look like Sora. He's the same height, and has the same face. It's mostly his hair that's different. And Xemnas didn't see "he looks LIKE you", as in identical. He said A LOT like you. Meaning there are things about him that also do NOT look like Roxas. Which is true.
