I own a Samoyed. He was very expensive indeed but he’s totally worth it - I just love him so much. He’s a friend, a bodyguard (he growls at creepy people) and a pillow in one pet.
If you’re thinking of getting a Samoyed, be aware that they are very stubborn though. They won’t obey, unless your commands actually make sense. Pal (my Samoyed) tends to walk off when I ask him to sit for no reason. 😂
Another reason for loving these beautiful dogs is that they don’t smell like... dog. You know what I mean, that dog smell? It kinda stinks. Samoyeds usually barely smell, their fur is pillowy soft and clean and dirt repellent.

I have a Pomeranian and a Samoyed, Cloud (Pom) Cherry (Samoyed).
Cherry always treats Cloud like it’s her own child, Cloud loves being with her!and if you put them both in a separate room, they’ll find their way back to each other. Even though they look different, they both love each other no matter what happens, or what mistakes they’ve made. 🤗 💕😍

My first dog is a German Shepherd .His coat is fully black and his name is King.(Well the breeder named him )We got him from a breeder but I don't remember much about the day we got him cause I was like 4. I used to have an Akita that died not long after getting our Labrador. He loved being outside and had no problem with living outside with our older Shiba (She died long ago) I never got to be acquainted with him because I was scared of dogs for most of my life (part of the reason they had to live outside.) Both of the dogs were rescued and didn't cost anything to adopt. They were amazing and I wish I got to knew them more.

By the way it's German Shepherd, not Shepard and it's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (no Knight) and there's no such thing as a Hairy Collie. It's a Bearded Collie. See what I mean? My first dog was a purple tongued German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix but we got her for free from a family friend before I was born but she was the most loyal and protective dog I had ever seen. My dad was prob her favorite person but she understood that my sister and I were kids and she protected us with her life even to the point that if my sister or I would jokingly say "help me Mia help dads hurting me" if he was carrying us or even if he wasn't within 5 feet of us she'd go for his ankles and rip his jeans and drag him down, she wouldn't try to hurt him badly bc she loved him to death bc she loved all of us but sometimes she was pretty rough and to her we were her babies and she prioritized us. She was such a smart one of a kind dog.

yea I have no idea where these prices come from. I have had one of them spaniels (was put down about a year ago) sure didnt cost 14000 and was from a good breeder of show dogs. I dont remember exactly how much since it was 11 years ago. but if it really was as much as this video claims, I would not be able to afford one in my life.

There is a Tibetan Mastiff a town over called Simba. He's the only one apart from a couple in the city. I can't pass Simba without showing him all the love because he stops when he sees me and I must pay tribute to his majesty. He's like my giant mastiff dog friend that died last year and would bark across the street when he saw me. Like, lady, i am RIGHT here. Hellooo. I had to keep treats in my hand bag because I'd bump into him regularly and I was a feeder 😂 (his owner approved all foods btw) dogs are the best.

Most people aren’t going to compete or need a dog with a very special pedigree and will get what breeders call “pet quality dogs”(which are dogs that are healthy and responsibly bred, but not up to the physical standards for a show or competition). A pet quality chow chow and a show quality chow chow will have very different price points.

I've never searched for a dog breed. My boyfriend found our dog on Petfinder listed as a chow mix with a terrible black and white photo that made him look not cute. Of course, we would never choose a dog based on breed or aesthetics, and we loved the description of his personality.
Long story short, we have a full blood, absolutely gorgeous red Chow Chow. He is so perfect and fits every element of the "breed standard" (feels weird to acknowledge, being a person that has always been against purchasing dogs and full breed dogs). He's so immaculate, he looks like the 1898 photo of the first Chow Chow standard for the AKC.
More importantly, he is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle creature ever. He loves every other dog in the universe, he loves cats, he's snuggly and expressive and intelligent and truly the greatest guy I know that currently exists in this world.
Moral of this story-don't purchase a dog and don't support breeding-ever. EVER.
You may end up with a full breed, gorgeous creature, or you may end up with a mutt that is a gorgeous creature.
If you're seeking a dog for it's beauty, you probably shouldn't be getting a dog.
Adopt/rescue. Adults and seniors. Don't buy a dog from a breeder, come on, it's 2019. Rescue a dog out here. They're being killed daily due to overcrowding. My dog Brian passed away last year in May. I got him from a shelter in West Virginia because he was going to be killed within hours.
He was a mutt and he was 8 years old. But he's the best dog I've ever known. THE best. No competition.

My grandparents have had Rottweilers for years. And they still have on to this day. His name is Hoss and he is the sweetest Rottweiler Ever! I also have a dog myself and he is a pitbull. We had a dog 1/2 Samoan, and 1/2 St. Bernard, he looked exactly like a large Samoan, he was so beautiful, solid white, and we named him, Hugo! He loved to ride in the boat. He love to ride in the trucks or the car, we bought him a life jacket we hadn’t made this is in the early 70s, but he didn’t work he sunk and the guys would have to jump out of the boat every time to get him and put him back in the boat. So we went back to the valley we lived in Joseph city, Arizona at that time, so they built him another life jacket, and it worked! He weighed 180 pounds! He was so loving and kind and friendly, good protector, along with his brother Rust, who was a Irish setter show dog. Those two were inseparable what happened to Hugo? He’d like to chase 18 wheeler trucks and we live right behind Route 66 and he would climb a fence with Barbwire. It couldn’t hurt him because his coat was so thick, and he would get out there and try to chase 18 wheelers one day, we lost him due to because he got hit by 18 wheeler. We tried everything to protect him. My first husband even put up another Barbwire fence before the Bobwire fence didn’t work. I miss them both very much good dogs. We also had an Akita and his name was shadow, and he was a tremendous dog also.

At the animal shelter the prices are more cheaper than at a pet store, but if ur want a pure breed dog the ur would have to get it at the pet store which will be a lot more expensive

@Mina Size is the primary difference but the Samoyed is a tiny bit different due to how smart and independent minded they can be.
Samoyeds are the largest weighing in at 65 lbs at the top for male dogs. It should be noted Samoyeds are regularly ranked as a top 10 smartest dog breed and as such is probably the toughest to train, because they get bored so easily. If you wonder why Samoyed owners always do all those trick stuffs or jokes on instagram videos, its primarily because if they don't their dog will get bored of whatever the usual play is. All 3 dog breeds are energetic and require active activity, the Samoyed however requires the most imagination and creativity to keep happy and entertained.
The Japanese Spitz is smaller and tops out around 25 lbs.
The American Eskimo varies depending on where you get a toy, mini, or standard size. The standard size tops at 35 lbs, the mini tops at 20 lbs, and the Toy tops at 10 lbs

My family has 3 akitas (out of 9 dogs), two of them were hella expensive while one of them was cheap for her breed. We have 3 mastiffs as well, but Italian, not Tibetan. The dog are HUGE even though they're not even a year old yet. They're kind of annoying, though.
