  • When Words and Images Matter: Challenges to our Time
    A Conversation with Christiane Taubira & Raoul Peck | 27 Oct. 2017
For Former French Minister of Justice Christiane Taubira and award-winning film director and writer Raoul Peck, words and images matter for how they frame and cast the stories that determined and promulgate the systemic inequalities and injustices that divide and challenge our societies today.
Their conversation continues the discussions about present day legacies of slavery, racial discrimination and hegemonic power relations raised by Peck’s documentary “I Am Not Your Negro.”

I am an American who only understands English and American. I am saving this video because I have just promised myself that I will begin joining the rest of the world and understand the French language part of this discussion before 2022 is over. Thank you all! And I've had no problems with the audio.

Attempting to hear this is more than difficult as the sound is so muffled as to be mostly inaudible which is most regrettable.
