Does anyone else notice how Shatter, mErcy, and iNSaNiTY all connect in almost a loop?
Shatter is decent into depression because the person she loves seems to be lost in darkness.
mErcy is the transformation from depression to loss of sanity
and iNSaNiTY is the madness and loss of self.
and If you include the frost mix of iNSaNiTY you have transformation back into sadness and disappointment that will then lead back to Shatter.
It's still very interesting that they *could* connect. All knowing that mErcy was a different person does is tell us it might not be or probably wasn't supposed to. {But still}
What about AiSeNMa? is could tie into after iNSaNiTY by the loss of memories, which could lead to the remembrance of the lost loved one in Shatter.
Logan Spencer I guess it could work. I just never thought of it before because AiSeNMa is sung by SONiKA, unlike Shatter, mErcy, and iNSaNiTY which is sung by SF-A2 Miki.
But, yeah, I could see how that would work.

I am very well aware of what Vocaloids are.
The fact, that I positively commented on her voice and that it was the first time I have heard this song, was just a comment on my discovery and an expression of my appreciation of this song. You can rest assured about me, I've even been deliberately searching for new cool vocaloid songs back then.
But if you want to go into details, what you said is not entirely true. Sure, this is not an actual person singing here, but her voice library comes from a real person, Miki Furukawa, an actual Japanese singer.
But still, when I commented my opinion on the final effect, I knew it's a virtual singer and the song was written in a program. I even tried writing songs in Vocaloid 2 but it was too advanced and I have too little time and experience. So what are the odds? Of all people I am the last one who needs to be educated about that. But I'm not frustrated that you tried to enlighten me, because how could you possibly know? After all there are people who don't realize it and for them it would have been useful.

Did anyone else notice this with Shatter, mErcy, and iNSaNiTY? The music in Shatter is calmer and flowing, then the beginning of mErcy is the same before it suddenly changes, and then iNSaNiTY is the upbeat 'insane' music almost the entire time.

I absolutely adored this song back in 2013 but haven’t listened to it in quite awhile. Coming back, it’s even better than I remember. The transition from the calmer music to the more fast paced made my heart race!
