Charles ? Totally to blame...Diana was the hunted at age 16. First he listened to his birth mother the Queen, now he listens to his second so-called queen/wife. He had a choice as a supposed adult to say no to marrying Diana. He is a weakling....acted like a lamb led to the slaughter so he could wear the crown....one day!! I was annoyed with Charles that the Queen's only surviving Lady in Waiting was not invited. I think that was wrong. With 3000 of his closest friends, they could have found a chair for her.
The Coronation is NOT a family occasion, which is why most of us were annoyed that Charles begged Harry to come back to the U.K. for it. Family are kept to a minimum. As,only, a daughter-in-law of The King, Catherine’s parents and siblings were very lucky to have been invited at all and it shows that Charles cares for them. The Heirachy had to invite representatives from countries all over the world plus many more who have done a lot for charitable and good causes in this country.

That is not entirely her fault. It takes 2 people to make a marriage work, it also generally takes two to keep a marriage from working. I've recently watched some of the early tapes of Charles and Diana. I feel as though they both made their position clear when Charles made sure Camilla had an invitation to his wedding to Diana, how disrespectful and hurtful to both women. However, she did not have to attend and she went way too far when she had the gall to wear white at their wedding. The Queen, Goddess bless her, never forgets a slight. She may not have felt it was proper to attend their Civil ceremony, but she did pay for and attend their reception. 😂 The Queen made sure she wore white to that event.

She still is a Queen Consort. A Queen Consort is a woman who is married to the King. But they’re only ever just referred to as “the Queen”. King Charles’ grandmother and great grandmother were also Queens Consort and they were referred to as Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Queen Mary. The whole plan of referring to Camilla as the Queen Consort for the first eight months was simply to get the public used to hearing her referred to that way, especially because when they were married they said she’d be called Princess Consort. The plan was always to eventually just call her the Queen. If Charles and Diana had still been married, then they would have referred to Diana as “the Queen” from the moment Queen Elizabeth II passed away. Remember, Camilla was extremely unpopular in the eye of the public when she and Charles got married. Her popularity has improved somewhat over the years, but this whole plan of Queen Elizabeth announcing that she wanted her to use the Queen Consort title when Charles became King has been slowly rolled out to allow her to eventually just be called “the Queen”.

I am American. When Queen Elizabeth passed I was as sad as anyone. She was the Queen of England - indeed Her Majesty WAS England to me. I admired Princess Diana enormously, after all, I am only 3 years older than she. Watching her life destroyed by Charles and Camilla infuriated me. Watching Charles be crowned King was inevitable, but watching Camilla being crowned hurt my heart. I pictured Diana that day that should have been hers and thought how unworthy Camilla is for that stolen honor. I can't think of Camilla as the real Queen of England - ever.
She was actually Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (and many other countries). It's not accurate to describe her simply as Queen of "England". Her mother was Scottish, even now the family spend time in Scotland and have two castles/homes there where they spend time every year. The Queen died in Scotland, not even in England, (because she's Queen of Scotland too).

The Coronation is NOT a family occasion, which is why most of us were annoyed that Charles begged Harry to come back to the U.K. for it. Family are kept to a minimum. As,only, a daughter-in-law of The King, Catherine’s parents and siblings were very lucky to have been invited at all and it shows that Charles cares for them. The Heirachy had to invite representatives from countries all over the world plus many more who have done a lot for charitable and good causes in this country.

There’s a VERY distinct reason that everyone still to this day has never and WILL never forget Diana, she in her short life did more to earn the worlds heart and love than I think anyone else in the royal family has ever done before and the closest to that I think we’ve ever had is Kate, she represents so closely what Diana did and that same kindness is rarely seen with anyone else and that’s why camilla will never have even close to the respect that Diana and Kate have because there’s not a cell of warmth that comes off her🤷🏼♀️

That is not entirely her fault. It takes 2 people to make a marriage work, it also generally takes two to keep a marriage from working. I've recently watched some of the early tapes of Charles and Diana. I feel as though they both made their position clear when Charles made sure Camilla had an invitation to his wedding to Diana, how disrespectful and hurtful to both women. However, she did not have to attend and she went way too far when she had the gall to wear white at their wedding. The Queen, Goddess bless her, never forgets a slight. She may not have felt it was proper to attend their Civil ceremony, but she did pay for and attend their reception. 😂 The Queen made sure she wore white to that event.

I am American. When Queen Elizabeth passed I was as sad as anyone. She was the Queen of England - indeed Her Majesty WAS England to me. I admired Princess Diana enormously, after all, I am only 3 years older than she. Watching her life destroyed by Charles and Camilla infuriated me. Watching Charles be crowned King was inevitable, but watching Camilla being crowned hurt my heart. I pictured Diana that day that should have been hers and thought how unworthy Camilla is for that stolen honor. I can't think of Camilla as the real Queen of England - ever.
