Could you please update this video to include different angles so we can see how the seat is assembled. Also would be awesome to show the "entire" setup, including the bungie cord on the front, etc. Also can you please make a video updating on the latest changes (2023 vs 2024 models). You've answered these questions on Facebook (namely the type of plastic being used, and moving away from the matte finish) but an entire list would be awesome. I noticed you created a new foot rest install video, so that was changed and no one had mentioned that on Facebook. Thank you!
I just received my Tucktec kayak but am having huge difficulty assembling it. The folds and the plastic of the kayak in general is so stiff it took me a couple of hours hours just to get the first two latches cleated. The next two defeated me. I will have another attempt tomorrow. I will post an update to let you allow know success or failure.
Hey, i just got the 10ft one as well. Please try to look for the creases in the kayak and fold them all in and bend them that way it folds easier, and it also get easier over time!
This is a poorly made video. The view needed to see the front assembly is completely obscured by the assembler. It is not intuitive without a visual. The seat installation was equally obscured. Was this intentional?
This video could have been a lot better. He doesn’t even describe what he’s doing with the inner latches. Also most customers aren’t setting these up on a table indoors, they’re setting them up outside. I use my legs to hold the boat together while folding and it makes it so much easier.
Agree with many of the other comments, can’t see what exactly is going on during assembly and after each step there isn’t a shot of what has actually been done.
Really?! You are missing so many details. Where does the shoulder strap go through? Can you show us folding and unfolding a new kayak? That’s what we need to see and show up close what your doing now 10 feet away
this is not very helpful as an official video, especially considering the kayak did not come with instructions. The latches are not intuitive and I finally came online to try to figure out how to use them, but you don’t show how to in this video.
ruclips.net/video/GcbkJ0yz4aU/видео.html this guys video is drastically better if anyone needs it. Yes, it's not complicated to figure it out on your own, but based on the comments here, I'm not alone in wishing it was a bit more in depth. This guys video got me going quickly!
The instructions say it's not about forcing it into place, but the first 2 times I've folded it I had to use my strength. Recommended folding in warm weather is definitely the case. Plastic is hard to fold in cold weather. It's winter where I am but I didn't want to wait lol.
@@GoonSquad_151That's messed up, you should email them pronto. The seat is actually really comfortable. I'm 6'4 and bought the 10ft. But the instructions tell you to register the serial number on it so that you can activate the warranty. So make sure you do that before you break anything lol.
Agreed with other comments . Do another video. Borrow another human to hold the camera . There are so many times you are talking but blocking the boat so you can’t see what you’re doing . Especially assembling the front end . Can not see what you’re doing and I feel like I’m breaking things . Will hope I can find someone else’s video to put it together or I’m sending it back. But for a company instructional video it’s not well done in the beginning or with the seat installation. You can do better.

no idea what you are doing with the seat.
this is the most ridiculous set up video ever. Laughable. come on tucktec.
Need better video of latch function, and interior assembly. Could not see seat assembly at all.

Put it in the sun to warm up and wear leather gloves. It's a game changer!
Next time, maybe use a camera person or change the angle when you're showing things on the inside.
Can please do a video on the seat installation?
I like the part where they show the seat 😂
Initially I had problems… but now that I’ve gotten used to the process, I can set up/take down in minutes. Worth it!!
Can you redo this video? I can’t see what you’re doing
Listen man we do not care how fast you can put the kayak together. We need to see what you're actually doing and slow down each step.
Can someone explain what's going on with the seat?

Wanna show us what to do with the elastic at the head? And get a camera man?
What is the best type of sail to get for it?
This is not that kind of kayak my guy

This kayak fucking sucks. I’ve had one for two days now and it just ripped at seam when I was trying to set it up.
Damn..don't say that... I just got mine 2 days ago. I haven't tried to set it up yet
I just got mine and am going to try it this weekend 😅😬

Well, found out mine didn’t come with the instructions or even a seat lmao. Fuuuu
