mine will be delivered within 2 hrs hopefully!!! the 2024 models seem to be really nice. The new material looks way more easier to work with. I cant wait to get out on the water today!

Thanks for the review! have a 3-4 year old version and the new one being lighter looks appealing. The old one I still struggle with and find the seat to be really bad.

I ordered a month ago. I was not a fan. The weight is nice. The lack of instructions in packing was somewhat annoying but theres a vid on their site. The boto feels pretty fragile. My main issue was how it performed in the water. Doesnt track all that well even with thr skeg down. And if there is wind. Forget it.

How much do you weigh? I absolutely love my BOTO and it tracks exceptionally well considering it’s build.

Thanks! That's the feeling I was getting I think the oru kayak might do better. I'll do some more research there but it's more the double the price of this one

Try the ORU kayak! The same concept but nothing but great reviews on it as far as smooth sailing and being stable on water !

Just found your channel. I asked on one of your other videos for this exact comparison! I'm trying to figure out if the heavy duty is worth the extra $$. Thanks for the awesome content. Got another sub!

@@turo3066 you would likely want the HD for any serious use... Especially if you anticipate hitting and rocks or logs

Do you know if the White Boto is translucent like the Oru kayaks are?

Looking forward to how they track in water. Liked the Boto, but as I’m 250+, got the HD.

You'll be good to go with the HD... They track well with the skeg down

I just got the blue 10 lb talk tech it did not come with any written instructions and I'm very frustrated. I did look at the video three times and now I can't find it again. I can't seem to get the latches to lock. I can't go on because they don't stay in place if you could show me a picture of how to do it it would be so helpful p it seems very happy on my dining room table but it really needs to go in the lake behind my house. Please help me out Marianne a new owner please help me

Is your 2024 an 8 or 10ft? I have the 3923, but want either the 3924 or Boto. This video comparison is helpful! Thank you!

10 foot. I think you'll find the BOTO to be a bit flimsy for more serious use

No footrest on the BOTO? That reduces your paddling effectiveness by at least half (for me at least). And with that wide flat bottom and no skeg, I can already predict how it's going to track.
As for the sharp-ish edge of the coroplast on the port/starboard beams, any well-equipped hardware or auto supply store should have door edge trim that would snap over that edge; that's pretty much what the heavy-duty model has.
    (BTW, it's bow and stern.....)
