Getting back to history. Some of the RV's in the 50's, listed as the first "mobile homes," had full-side slides. The buyer could take a full-sized house with them wherever they went. They didn't last long because I believe the technology wasn't available then. Now we have it, and can potentially take a full-sized house with us. How cool!

This Concept is a Loosing bid on a US DARPA program for a US Military Rapid Deployment Base. I am SOOOO Pumped that someone has taken this design philosophy and Ran with it. I Hope you sell MANY of these.
This is really well-designed. The windows are genius. This deployable building could make an instant vacation home for an isolated rural location or multiples of these homes could be used to make a temporary village after a disaster or married student housing on a college campus. I would like to see power outlets in every wall except the bathroom, would like the sharp edges of the furo tub rounded for safety and would like some type of picture railing high up on the walls near the ceiling from which to suspend picture wires so art work could be placed on the walls. The left end of the kitchen counter that is next to the refrigerator looks the right size for a coffee machine, if you put a power outlet there. I would also like to see an option for pairs of XL twin-size murphy beds or fold-down bunk beds in each bedroom. Some ceiling hooks on the front porch ceiling from which to suspend lanterns or hanging plant baskets would be a nice touch. Please show the finished and furnished product when the structure is completed.
Well-thought design. I look forward to seeing everything upon completion. And can I just say THANK YOU for the acknowledgement that most, if not all, standard residential cooktop fans are insufficient! If only they were more accessible and affordable for the average homeowner/renter.
I followed up to the website and this is not a bad price for what you get. I would have loved seeing the utilities and storage at the back though. Very nicely done!!
This idea would be GREAT in areas that are subject to bad flooding every few years. If you knew one of those devastating "once every fifty years" storms was coming you could just rent a good towing vehicle, fold up the house and move it up to higher ground. You would lose all your landscaping, but your house and furniture would be fine. Once the area dried out, you just have the house moved back. Think of the insurance savings! Insurance companies would LOVE this concept!
The best solution is to know your once in 1000 year flood and just install a pad higher than that level, i.e. add fill so the house is above the flood level. Who wants to dismantle and reassemble it "just in case." I have a property on a flood plain and know this height. Nothing gets wet even on bad flood years.
Amazing design. It seems like you thought of everything. Certainly, things that I never would've thought of myself. Such an efficient use of every bit of space. Even the video presentation is excellent! Good luck to you. I hope your business continues to grow.

Love this. I have so many questions though. Will there be shelves in the cabinets and book shelf in the kitchen and bedrooms? Can this be purchase with only 1 bed so the other bed area can be used for storage? Will there be a choice of kitchen backslash colors? The blue is no bueno. Can the bath be made without the soaker tub? Seniors would have great difficulty getting over that ledge. Will you be providing screens for the windows? Why propane for hot water instead of on demand water heater? Where does the washer/dryer go? What is the cost? Where can we get more info?
Great concept! Very clever, would love something like this. Unfortunately I doubt windstorm guidelines where I am along the Texas Gulf coast would ever allow it.
This would be great to have delivered via a helicopter to a mountain top as an emergency shelter or for the rangers on duty in high risk high adventure locations.
I rather love this one!! 🤩😍 And that's saying something as I've watch 100 and probably 1000s of Tiny House/RVs/Bus/Van/Containers/Earth Ships/Underground/Hobbit/Treehouses/Delivery Trucks... Just a few... And this is my first time leaving a comment. High-Fives!! Thumbs up!! Makes my heart go Pitter-Pat!! Now, how would it fair in Canadian winter's? Average temperature is -26-8 or so...But it can be in excess of -30° to -40° in the windchill. And in the Summer highs of 30°-32° with humidity temperatures of 38°-40°?
This is all about the ease of not having to sell your home, and not having to purchase one where you are going. You pack up your stuff (mabye a u haul), fold down your house, move both, set them up, and boom! You are done!
In front of the kitchen is some room, also inside the bathroom. Even with the dressers from the bedroom, that he talked about, there should be enough room depending on what furniture you get. If you're going to buy this, you could intentionally buy furniture you know fits when towing it. The back of the trailer has a storage compartment as well.
@@ChazEvansdale Ahhh ok thanks, for something like this I would have to have furniture that could be compacted in some way, like an Ikea dining table that folds out from a small cube that has stools underneath as well. I have seen some great compactable furniture out there.

I just came from a video from a year earlier with similar fold out design, channel was Christine Chen and from china. They didn't have much inside though. Not sure about insulation. Some places freeze in the winter so plumbing and water heaters and stuff need to take that into account. Plus snow on the roof I'm in the US so I'm glad it's available in this country

Some of your questions were answered in the video. Screens are there, washer and drier in the shed space.
@@enuffwiththestuffnow Hi Are you the builder?
ORIGAMI style house! Often imagined, this is the first time I see it. Hope you will do a follow up when it is finished. Thanks for sharing!
Very very very nice home I lovely
I love it, I’d find a place to park it and leave there permanently, how much is this home?
Very nice!
Great concept! Very clever, would love something like this. Unfortunately I doubt windstorm guidelines where I am along the Texas Gulf coast would ever allow it.
Such a great effort!
Beautiful
This would be great to have delivered via a helicopter to a mountain top as an emergency shelter or for the rangers on duty in high risk high adventure locations.
Awesome engineering, I am very interested!
Luxury and I love your logical.
I like this one
Thats awsome!
Me Impresiono 👀 Exelente Concepto👍
We need a big truck, and repaint it with Optimus Prime color scheme.... bad ass. LOL
Very interesting. The only questions I have is where do you put your living room/dining room furniture when you fold it up and move it.
One of the rooms could be used as a living or family room.
Very impressive design, and choice of materials. I like this. A back door to the home would have been a plus...allowing for human and pet traffic to back yard environment.
Transformer house. Way cool 👍
really beautiful design, want to know how much the estimated price for a house like that.
Great idea - I actually had thought of doing the same thing but going up - making a "sliding" second floor - but it didn't occur to me to expand horizontally - brilliant design
I just came from a video from a year earlier with similar fold out design, channel was Christine Chen and from china. They didn't have much inside though. Not sure about insulation. Some places freeze in the winter so plumbing and water heaters and stuff need to take that into account. Plus snow on the roof
I'm in the US so I'm glad it's available in this country
Ok I left this on another post.howuch does it cost and can you carry it as an RV with attached utilities
Nice house
