There are two pattern books for the snowflake inspired crochet snowballs.
Pattern book 1 is called “Lace Crochet Covered Ornaments” and the six patterns are designed to fit standard 2.25” diameter ornaments.
Pattern book 2 is called “Large Lace Crochet Covered Ornaments” and the six included patterns are designed to fit 100mm (4”) diameter balls.
If you are using the balloon trick described in the video, inflate the balloon to fit the crocheted design. Thank you to my friend, Robin, for sharing her work in progress photos used in the video.

Depending on the starch that you use and how you store them, I’d expect them to withstand seasonal use for quite awhile. You can probably reshape them and re-spray them with a fixative as well. Good luck!
