Thank you for your purchase. To answer your question, do not sew the sections together. You’ll just continue bead crocheting from where you left off. When you finish bead crocheting one section, string the next section of beads. Then join the new thread in the last stitch that you completed from the previous section. Continue to bead crochet with the new beads. After you complete a few beaded rounds, just pull the strings into the crocheted tube to hide them from view. You should have 12 loops after round 3. This will reduce to 6 loops after round 4. In the first ch9 loop of around 4, make (4dc, ch5, 4dc), *slip stitch in the next ch9 loop, then make (4dc, ch5, 4dc) in the next ch9 loop from Round 3. Rep from * around the loop. You should end with 6 ch5 loops. Good luck.

I think the confusion might be my choice of wording . In the video, I typed “slip stitch to next loop”. But, it may be easier to write “slip stitch in next loop”. Sorry for the confusion, usually, I’ll type, “slip stitch across to” if there are multiple slip stitches. In this case, you are slip stitching in every other loop. That’s why you go from 12 loops at the end of Round 3 to only 6 loops after Round 4. You can find me on IG @kristensteindesigns if you have further questions. Good luck and happy holidays!

Depending on the starch that you use and how you store them, I’d expect them to withstand seasonal use for quite awhile. You can probably reshape them and re-spray them with a fixative as well. Good luck!

Start with an even number of stitches. That way you’ll be sure to have the same pattern repeated perfectly as you work in the round. It is a beautiful stitch!

You’ll love it. Tunisian crochet is a lot of fun. (There are hundreds of stitches.) Some people refer to 2-sided Tunisian (with the double ended crochet hook) as Croknitting or crohooking, but it uses many of the same elements you find in basic Tunisian crochet. Thanks for finding me on IG! 😘

Looking back at the pic, it looks like in the repeated section I did “dc in each of next 2 dc”. In this way, we use a set of 3 dc for each section of the pattern, leaving us with 12 ch-1 spaces. But, you can certainly do 24 dc stitches in Round 1 and then keep Round 2 the same. You’ll just get a slightly different look at the end, but it should be equally as beautiful. Good luck! I’ll see if a I can update the video.

If you do 36 dc in around 1, then change Round 2 to: 2dc in first dc, [ch1, skip next dc, dc in each of next 2 dc] repeat between brackets around, omitting the last 2 dc. (You should end with 12 ch1 spaces.)
