Siberian cats are by far one of the nicest cats. They are usually a very hearty breed and are extremely gentle and sweet. They are talkative if you engage them and they follow you around the house like a very friendly dog would. Also, very fluffy especially in winters when their winter coat comes in. I'm allergic to cats in general but I haven't had any issues with my Siberian cat who is about 10 years old now. Still super sweet, and loves to hang out with his/her human buddy.

We had her for 18 years and tho she didn't get along with our karat and our European Burmese, she was definitely a sweetie. Had odd eyes, one blue, one yellow and wasn't blind or deaf as some are.

Siberians do not carry the gene that causes the allergy

Yes, got darker for sure. Looks grey as opposed to bleach white. Though still very much a white cat.

to be precise this is a nevskij variation of the siberian breed. ordinary siberians look usually dark and striped and don't have this silvery coat
When they go on their stomach they prefer a head rub some cats will bite you if you rub their stomach. (Not hating that’s a beautiful cat 🐈)

I know that this breed sheds a lot. If I groom the coat every day, will there still be hair on the floor in the house?
Expect hair everywhere, but regular brushing will certainly help.
