Hello. How are you tapping that Grey wire into the fuse. Wrap the wire around one of the leads of the fuse and plug it in? I don't know.
So I didn't use any wiring harness on my 2021 SR5, everything works like it should, what am I missing? I got the Luxx I think but when I plugged everything in before bolting it back down I tested and it all works. I feel like I just built a lego set and I had way too many extra pieces.

Mostly all the headlight install videos online everyone has the tacos with no fender flares. Mine has them.

I have a 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport. I want to install Alpharex Projector Sequential headlights. It's the only thing I should need other than the lights are the adapters? I presently have LED headlights. I've watched several videos, each one has a different twist. Thanks
Sooo you are wanting to downgrade your headlights? The Toyota LED lights are what these are trying to be, but made from a small aftermarket manufacturer who is more after looks than function. I know some people just want the look, but I am trying to save you some time and heartache - keep the factory LEDs!

How is the brightness of the low and high beams compared to the stock headlights?
Both the low beams and high beams are noticeably brighter with the AlphaRex Novas. Being that they have projectors the beam pattern is also really nice and controlled

Should the DRL LEDs stay on all the time (whenever the truck is running) regardless of what the headlight selector is set to…… or do I have something wired wrong?
They should be on all the time when the truck is running, so it sounds like something may be wired incorrectly or depending on what package of truck you have you might need to turn the headlight switch to "DRL" for them to kick on.
@@stage3motorsports the problem is that they ARE on all the time when the truck is running. I have no way to shut ALL lights off when running now.
@@pocketemail81 Ohh I see. Since they're designed to stay on all the time you'll need to talk to one of the techs at Alpharex to see if there's a way to manipulate the wiring to allow you to turn them off.
Just installed this on my 3rd gen Tacoma. I did ran into an issue where the high beams weren’t turning on. I seemed to wire everything correctly, but the only time the high beams would turn on is if I switched the low and high beam connectors, which isn’t the correct way to do it obviously. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Does the drl lights stay on all the time even though I have the headlights setting to off?
I just put in ARex Luxx, they literally do the same thing as the stock. They work however you set your steering wheel peg to. Off is off, auto is auto, running is running, and lights come on when you twist the knob. Seems to work fine
My DRL is amber instead of white, other than that every thing else works??? SR5 '21Tacoma

Yeah I’m going to wait till you get answer because I also have a 21 SR5
So it ended up being a collab with the stereo guys...for some reason in parking light mode they are amber but when my fogs are on they turn white. They also didn't do the gray wire they just cut it off. I recovered it and tied it to that fuse So it goes DRL off my DRLs are always on, auto normal behavior, but are amber when it's bright out (maybe the fog light tie in issues). parking light as stated previously. I think my lights are fraken wired but they work. The instructions are confusing and no videos in sr5
@@kevinmason6130 I was installed in my truck and the amber color, it only turns on when you use the daytime lights when you completely turn on all the lights it changes to white.
I don’t have a 3 prong grey port on my 2021 trd off road. I’ve got 3 other plugs, black, dark gray and light gray left over. Do I need another harness?

this is a scam i did everything and pulled so hard i couldve drug the truck across my carport and the bumper will not pop off... you could tell me id give you a million dollars to pop it off and i still couldnt without breaking it.
Watch Chloe Kuo. She does a better job at showing installs. She removes her bumper differently. If a small girl can do it then I can do it, is what I tell myself.
@@gamerscore88 i just had someone familiar with toyotas do it for me, replace all the broken tabs ect worth every penny i spent without worrying about breaking anything else lol

These things are absolute pieces of trash. They are not a reputable light manufacturer and shouldn’t be sold. Well documented on Tacoma world by professional lighting engineers with real science that show these are unsafe and have crap output.
I have had these lights installed in my truck for more than 5 months and I have not had any problems. What do you mean are they junk?
