    You should do some random scoops into a specimen container so we can see what the fish look like.

    in florida we got to cover because of the cuban frogs they eat fry and the pleecos really a pain but still trying

    I control my duckweed with a simple pocket comb and scrape it into a container. Than I let it dry and feed to my Goldfish as Goldfish food.

    Does the duck weed lower the oxygen level for the fish since it covers the entire pond?

      Unsure, the fish seem to be thriving with the duck weed covering it and no water movement. I would have to think that the duck weed is putting oxygen into the water even though it sits on the surface (my opinion, unknown fact).

    What are you going to do as winter comes? Heater, take the fish inside?

      I take the fish inside and empty the pond
