GD is 100% my bias musically/perf wise (others all so good they come in at 99%) and GD has been central to Bigbang music, lyrics, production, but I believe they all contribute creative and music ideas - particularly as they grew over the years. I would never detract from how amazing GD's attainments are - but have to give the others their credit too. After not too long, TOP began writing his own rap line. It was Taeyang that was involved in writing the music for Loser, not GD - although I think GD was credited for the lyrics. Whenyou watch videos about them during prep for concerts etc., it seems that they all discuss and have input in ideas.
Also, if you listen to GD / Jennie Blackpink, you can clearly hear he taught her/influenced her how to rap - especially in some of BP early title tracks!
They're actually the pioneer in a lot of things, from the lightsticks and changing haircolors/hairstyles, tattoos, going shirtless. They don't keep up with the "good boy idol" image. They're Big BIG in Korea, Korean people say that BIGBANG is like picking 5 superstars and form into one group. They're BIG and respected as solo artist. They have a song for every mood, hope you'll dive more into them especially their ballads. The group produce compose and write their own music and is very involved in everything from producing to stages, concerts.

The first guy is G Dragon, then Taeyang. TOP is the guty with blue hair and deep voice. The guy with white hair is Daesung. The guy with all the girls around is Seungri. BIG BANG was originally 5 members. Seungri left in 2019. TOP is out at the moment but could come back. He is an Actor and will be on Squid Game 2. G Dragon came back after 7 years. Fantastic baby : This was big internationally at clubs - maybe thst's where you heard it. I read that the mv is about standing up to those that wanted to silence their music at the time. Each members part tells a story e.g. the guy in the picture frames is dressed as various historical revolutionary leaders that fought for freedom of the people. In the end their music wins out against those that want them to stop and they sit as kings on their thrones. There is an exhibition at the V&A Museum in London at the moment. In one of the exhibit rooms they have Fantastic Baby playing in the background and a painted sculpture of G Dragon (one with the really long hair at the beginning) in the centre of the room, with all things relating to him hanging from the ceiling.

Once you watch their live stages, you'll never recover. VIP don't care about synchronized dancing or whatever. BIGBANG will always provide a concert that's like a party. They hooked me 16 years ago and I've been a VIP since. We have a saying in our fandom "BIGBANG and VIP Until Whenever" that stems from a song they wrote about their hardships and as a message to fans called "Until Whenever". We've used that phrase as a promise to BIGBANG to be by their side through everything, waiting until the day they don't want us to come back.

seeing all the love for bigbang resurging after the MAMA performance warms my lil vip heart. what many know as kpop now is all off the influence of BTS, and thats no shade since i love them too. but thats where that whole "everyone is a dancer, everyone is a singer, everyone raps, everyone is an ACE" formula came from. that can be enjoyable and its what made BTS stand out but thats just not how kpop was prior to 3rd gen. BIGBANG and 2NE1 are what influenced so many idols to be who they are today. i hope you do a 2NE1 reaction next, i think youll love them!

That guy 02:09 invented KPOP LIGHTSTICKS. Invented fashion in kpop today. Invented the song writing for idols as a main thing. Before GD, nobody wrote their own songs in Kpop. Invented or was the first Global ambassador for a luxury brand in ASIA. (CHANEL) he paved the way for artists like EXO, BTS, GOT7, EVERYONE to even be considered as Models for European luxury brands. You need to watch the old MAMA performances of these songs. Fantastic baby in 2012, Good Boy in 2014 and BANG, Bang, Bang in 2015. Each MAMA stage is iconic - all of it. Please be aware they are called the Kings of Kpop, because they are the ones to first do all you see in Kpop. From having rap and Hip Hop in Kpop group, to writing and producing their own songs, to colouring their hair, to crazy outfits, to each individual person having their own swag and personality. To creating first lighstick, to getting American film producer to create their MV, To first world tours and so much more. This is why they are Legends. From 2007 to 2016 they were the number 1 Kpop group. They also were the first to allow the members to do Solo work without disbanding from the group. YG Entertainment was a small company when they started but became MEGA Big and it was Big Bang who made them so big. Even their CEO stated BIG BANG made YG. Big bang has 5 members in the past. At the moment in 2024 there is only 3 active members and you seen them all at the MAMA 2024 performances. I need more BigBang reactions or marathons! I really hate Seungri for robbing Big Bang of part of their career - they would have comeback much earlier if it weren't for that human piece of garbage. (I also think all the scrutiny on him just made it too difficult for TOP to get his head together - one of the reasons he gave up on Idol life and BB.

The first guy is G Dragon, then Taeyang. TOP is the guty with blue hair and deep voice. The guy with white hair is Daesung. The guy with all the girls around is Seungri. BIG BANG was originally 5 members. Seungri left in 2019. TOP is out at the moment but could come back. He is an Actor and will be on Squid Game 2. G Dragon came back after 7 years. This was big internationally at clubs - maybe thst's where you heard it. I read that the mv is about standing up to those that wanted to silence their music at the time. Each members part tells a story e.g. the guy in the picture frames is dressed as various historical revolutionary leaders that fought for freedom of the people. In the end their music wins out against those that want them to stop and they sit as kings on their thrones. There is an exhibition at the V&A Museum in London at the moment. In one of the exhibit rooms they have Fantastic Baby playing in the background and a painted sculpture of G Dragon (one with the really long hair at the beginning) in the centre of the room, with all things relating to him hanging from the ceiling.
I love seeing new VIPs and then I worry it'll be even harder to get concert tickets lol. Welcome to the Kings. You're in for a fun journey!

From my understanding he’s no longer under the label or in the band. So the four you should know is D dragon, TOP deep rapping voice. Taeyang from what I see he’s always had pretty much the same kind of cut with his hair. Amazing singer. And Daesung you will hear him just going days with his vocals lol and the fifth guy is not important what so ever. If you want to know why he’s not important and scum of the earth there is a documentary from a channel called rotten mango she did a video called the burning sun. And it shows how involved (which is 100%) he was. I still love bigbang no matter what. I would be fine with you doing a deep dive. Just know seungri (I don’t care if I spelled it wrong) he is not a good person. But I also don’t think the other guys should be held responsible for his dumb terrible ass 😂😂😂 okay sorry for the rant haha

Once you watch their live stages, you'll never recover. VIP don't care about synchronized dancing or whatever. BIGBANG will always provide a concert that's like a party. They hooked me 16 years ago and I've been a VIP since. We have a saying in our fandom "BIGBANG and VIP Until Whenever" that stems from a song they wrote about their hardships and as a message to fans called "Until Whenever". We've used that phrase as a promise to BIGBANG to be by their side through everything, waiting until the day they don't want us to come back.

They are so uniquely talented as a group and soloists. While they have toured internationally their major splash in the US was interrupted by mandatory military service for their country. seeing all the love for bigbang resurging after the MAMA performance warms my lil vip heart. what many know as kpop now is all off the influence of BTS, and thats no shade since i love them too. but thats where that whole "everyone is a dancer, everyone is a singer, everyone raps, everyone is an ACE" formula came from. that can be enjoyable and its what made BTS stand out but thats just not how kpop was prior to 3rd gen. BIGBANG and 2NE1 are what influenced so many idols to be who they are today. i hope you do a 2NE1 reaction next, i think youll love them!

You need to watch the old MAMA performances of these songs. Fantastic baby in 2012, Good Boy in 2014 and BANG, Bang, Bang in 2015. Each MAMA stage is iconic - all of it.

From having rap and Hip Hop in Kpop group, to writing and producing their own songs, to colouring their hair, to crazy outfits, to each individual person having their own swag and personality. To creating first lighstick, to getting American film producer to create their MV, To first world tours and so much more. This is why they are Legends. From 2007 to 2016 they were the number 1 Kpop group. They also were the first to allow the members to do Solo work without disbanding from the group. YG Entertainment was a small company when they started but became MEGA Big and it was Big Bang who made them so big. Even their CEO stated BIG BANG made YG. Big bang has 5 members in the past. At the moment in 2024 there is only 3 active members and you seen them all at the MAMA 2024 performances. You got all 3 person correct in this MV the other two: 1 left and the other just out out of prison not too long ago . Before BTS they were the biggest male group. They are called the king of kpop. A lot of idols now including BTS looked up to them while growing up
The two memebrs that were missing from the mama performance are Seungri and Top. Top left on his own accord, wanting to do his thing. He's the one with blue hair in fantastic baby, and the cowboy in bang bang bang. Seungri, however... yeaaaaah. About that. He was involved in the burning sun scandal (cca 2019), where the club he used to own/co-own called Burning Sun got exposed for running an underground s3x trafficing ring, essentially. He went to prison for about 3 years, and now he's just out and about.

They are SO good, and i don't know if you really do life performances, but they are a must when it comes to them, they own the stage, as you could see in MAMA.
