I listed something for $48, I got an offer for $10. I declined. They came back with $20, I countered $38 (my lowest) and they bought it. From $10 to $38. 🤷🏼♀️ Love your videos! ❤️
Hey there! Regarding the combined shipping, I've only had a buyer who wanted to purchase multiple items once, but when that happened, I found an option under "shipping preferences" and "calculated shipping" that allows the seller to activate a combined shipping option for your seller account. This allows ebay to combine the weight of multiple items in a single purchase to assess the shipping fee accurately. Turning this option on at the account level then makes the option available within each listing, where it still needs to be clicked again as the listing is created or edited. It's easy enough for new listings, but I haven't found a way to quickly turn it on for all old listings. Fortunately, my buyer reached out to me to request combined shipping before she paid, so I was able to edit just those 2 listings to turn on combined shipping. Her multiple purchases populated my order screen as a single order with one shipping label. I really appreciate your channel! Thank you!
I agree with you on declining very low offers. I've accepted a few, and it seems like those are the buyers who end up leaving negative feedback or returning.
I've been learning new brands to look out for now when I thrift (since watching u) to incorporate with my vintage fashion to have more options in my eBay store. 💃🏻💥

I agree about low-ball offers, I de cline. I once had an offer 80% off my price! I offer free shipping so that is an absolute decline plus, my prices are already lower than every other listed item at the time I list. These are people looking to re-sell the item. I do take almost all reasonable offers though. I dont accept returns, never have in 30 years of selling. The only time I do is if someone is fishing for a partial refund by saying a part was missing or something else. Then I tell them to send it back....they never do.

Ashley, I appreciate the knowledge you share on your channels; I, too, would like to think that responsive customer service counts for something on ebay, but i don't think ANYONE can say they know, 100%, how the algorithm works. Please don't make speculations come across like an absolute truth, unless you have (and share) proof from ebay that it is true. It is a disservice to your watchers and to yourself as an influencer with integrity. Plus, if you knew how ebay works then you would be a bajillionaire, and the only video you'd need to do would be sharing all this first-hand algorithm knowledge. I doubt employees at ebay even know how it all works... and why assume there is only one algorithm? Maybe there are several, randomly running at different times and days, in different categories. Who knows?? Sorry for the rant. I hope you feel better soon.

I get plenty of trolls and low ball offers, peeps just think that is part of the 'game' , I just decline or let them know that I have other things listed that match closer their tight budget 😊
