Consider moving the shower to the entryway. That spot already has a floor pan with teak floor and drain holes to catch snow melt. I like your overall concept of multi-purposing; and shower-entry combo may fit. Comments? - Steve Parkin, Salt Lake, Utah

Ever since I first saw the Kimbo, I've wondered why the shower isn't in that space near the door. That would make sense.
Suggestion for the storage baskets: a track system that allows the owner to move and remove the baskets as they see fit would be really cool. This way only the baskets needed would be on the wall and in the place they are best served. Also, it would allow the owner to put the baskets in the dishwasher at home.

You are so cleaver and amazing i am gonna start saving and gathering money for a camper i love the idea of simplicity and not having water lines or water tanks on the outside or underneath i am drooling every time I watch one of your videos i love love the fire place with a little log burning in the fire place id be so cozy and at home in that camper

This is probably the best design I've seen keeping it simple.
can the kimbo be custom built to fit longer pkup beds :(ford 6x raptor truck?)
Maybe a copper coil incorporated into the furnace to use that heat. Then plumb it to the shower space. Maybe you could also have an inlet on the outside and inside for the water source.
There is a problem with depending in the inside door handle to close the rear door. Evetually the handle or locking mechanism will work itself loose. So why not install an interior grab handke to shut the door with enough force to close it. Submarines all have a grab bar on the interior of their hatches to close the hatch...
I love your camper. Unfortunately I have no money to afford it. But I have a suggestion idea and a recommendation. My recommendation would be have a hat bracket on the roof and on the back driver side for a CB antenna or ham radio antenna or both preferably. Note overhanging shrubs are always on the right side to break antennas.
Something to consider or investigate on I remember more than a decade or two ago a 4 x 4 channel had a in-line heat extractor From the hot side hose going into the radiator. It was a copper device that would use a water pump to pump through the water from a 5 gallon bucket into the heat exchanger and back out to a quick disconnect under the car for a warm to hot water shower head. Ideal for washing cars or you.
Love the quality, lightweight and simple solutions. Surely you could set-up some kind of heat exchanger from the vehicle’s radiator/ cooling system? Heat your water for free when driving (separate, clean system), boiling water, insulated tank that would stay hot for ages once parked-up. If the pipes ran internally with insulation no icing up.
I really appreciate that you are using your product and continually finding ways to update it. If it is raining or there is snow on the roof when you open the door, how do you keep it going inside from that sloped roof part?
Finally found a damn camper , where they have a wood stove option!! YES! For me personally , a wood stove in either a camper / trailer ect........is a 100% MUST!
Great you actually camp with it makes a big difference when designing, love the wood stove and your shower idea do you make these a little bigger if someone wanted to order?
That wet area would be an excellent place to serve as double duty for a toilet

I love the rear door model with what appears to be a pop-up shower at the entryway. If that is an entryway pop-up shower, can you do a new video with that option and if you provide hot water tank?
You NEED to make one sized for the Cyber truck! The style would compliment each other!

Embassy RV has a novel solution to grey and white tanks. Where they share the same space through the use of a flexible Marine grade reservoir.
The wet closet can also be used to dry hand washed clothes. You can use a 5 gallon bucket to hand wash your clothes in.
I wonder if you could just mount that front window on the side then you could just look directly out the window/skylight and stargaze as you lay in bed. Awesome design.
I love your camper design (with the rear door). As an older Engineer i like the KISS (keep It Simple, xxxx) approach. I also love your updates, changes and improvements as you go. The rear door change makes it much easier for the fat old guys like me and i love it. That door must of been hard to fabricate and seal. I also love the goal Zero power pack solution. I have been wondering why more designs do use this approach with all the different off the self solar power units and DYI types.
Keep designing I love our design approach.

What kind of awesome aluminum structure is the body body made of and how is it insulated?
I think the garden sprayer shower idea is kinda good but same time it is kinda dangerous idea too and time to time use the tank and the handle cylinder area can build up shower grim and dirt...etc..
it is kinda ideal sprayer with shower but seems something is missing here...
Are there any plans for a full size truck kimbo in the future?
If it was warm enough out I could more easily see me placing the shower bottle on the tailgate and showering on the ground behind the camper with a swimming suit on. Nice
Mark, I served in the U.S.A.F. & Will Take A Military Shower. They Take 2 Minutes Max. Your Tank Will Warm Up With Semi Warm Water In It. 😁

The shower used to be available for about $130 by Zodi® Extreme SC™ but you can make yourself one.

Can you somehow make the entrance way with the drain, the shower? You could kill two birds with one stone...Awesome job on this.
We had initially had the shower there but found it to be too small of space to stand up fully. Thank you for the suggestion though!

The side door was only on the prototype. All Kimbo models moving forward will have the rear door design.

Just get a sea to summit shower bag, boil some water and add it to cold. Easy as hell.
Another good option .. just stick the one end into a bucket of warm water (bags are heavy to prop up, and may leak with time)

Very similar style, but he can heat it with a sous vide cooker and pressurize with with an air compressor.

Big enough for one person and if someone puts the gate up you are trapped inside windows too small to climb out
you should cover them with some cool wraps, Like camo or A American Flag wrap.
I wish there was less wood because of moisture absorption.

A pop up top version of these would sell great. This wont fit through a .typical suburban garage door opening. (height).
doubt a popup version would fit either.

You would be much better off using a tankless on demand , (portable) water heater made for camping.
Hooks right up to a 30 pound propane tank.
You've got to come up with a better shower stall design, your garden sprayer design is pretty sucky! Hopefully you can come up with something much better, and hopefully you'll come up with a better solution for an actual cooking stove. It would be really nice to have these luxuries!!! Thanks
