THis is very competitively priced, but I am shocked at how less old laptops are sold in exchange! Even with RTX 3060.
The thing with the 4060 in laptops is that it's not that different performance wise to a desktop's. That is why you'll see so many people buying it which in turn drives up the price.

Actually I don't know much about gaming laptops, but I can see this little thing has great specs just looking at the performance between low and max performance. Good job mate✌️
If you get this on sale it’s a massive steals the specs are phenomenal buying the parts separately for a PC is actually more expensive it’s insane how they’re selling this so cheap.

make sure it has RGB light studio for your keyboard I found out when I took mine home I should have asked when I went to the store and bought it but I didn't invested enough time make sure he has all the features you like to ask questions at the store make sure you get every piece information ok

I have the Intel i7/4060 version of this laptop and it's decent. The Omen hub is a little slow and laggy, I upgraded the ram to 32gb with 5600mhz but there is no advance settings in the bios so you can't do anything. Plugged in the laptop runs great but when on battery life the lower wattage just ruins the gaming experience. Could barely play Helldivers 2 even on the lowest setting, I had to use the Nvidia GeForce panel to optimize the game and run it on the lowest setting but it still stuttered a little. I'm going to return it.

If you are able to carry a heavy laptop and don't want MS Office and want a Fat Laptop, but want a total beast then go for PREDATOR NEO 16 i7 variant 4060

i’d recommend hp omen 16, helios is loud and heavy and bad keyboard 512 GB, on the other side it’s light, quiet (decent) , 1 TB

It's really good just got mine, i7 13th gen rtx 4060, the only problem is that the cpu likes to stay at around 100 degrees at maximum performance, but it is intel and yknow how intels cpu are

A: there 2 slots. 1 of them is already populated the other one is empty. The Batter is unknown. A: This nvme ssd should work as long as it is not over 2T.
This is the best balance of both world, let me know if there's something else.
It has the understated looks or rather matured looks that doesn't look out of place in professional environment. I have tuned the RGB to only highlight the 4th section which is the numpad (my variant comes with numpad). It doesn't sounds like rocket when on gaming. RTX 40 series with frame generation make it a serious contender to my Xbox series X. I understand that my Xbox can push 4k gaming but this laptop with Nvidia frame generation surpass it miles ahead in term of 1080p performance. The RAM and SSD is easy to upgrade. The lid can be opened with one finger.
So overall, from personal experience I really recommend this laptop. It's 2024 already so prices are going down.
Well said, i wish mine also had the numpad. But i gotta say the keyboard does look more premium without the numpad.
@@ninjafrozr8809 It's a boon and a curse. It's easier to hit numlock instead of backspace but when I need to do number entry especially with long digits, its very heplful to have. Definitely TKL layout is much suited for gaming laptop.

Do anyone know if this laptop will be good for school as well? Will it be loud or is ot very quite? I once had a gaming laptop for school and it so embarassing to sit in an exam with an hairdryer

The laptop stays quiet when used for light tasks like word, chrome etc.
The build is good imo, doesnt feel cheap but its a matter of opinion.

230W , and you won't even need that much. The 4nm Ryzen 7 chip is so efficient that it gives the same performance as the 13700H with only half the power usage.

yes , i don't know how many slots it have but u can upgrade upto 64 gb ram
It doesn't have thunderbolt 4. Only the Intel versions have it. And only a single M.2 slot for this one, again the Intel versions have an extra slot.

I have this and the battery lasts 8+ hours of regular use on igpu at %50 brightness and ECO mode.

Maybe not a huge deal but the far left side of keyboard rgb not working for me. Only the wasd keys are lighting up.
You should reset your Omen Light Studio settings. Or just delete light studio altogether, that's definitely a software issue.

Omen 16 with fhd display or legion slim 5 with wqxga+ , both ryzen7 and 4060. i am confused about the build among the two , display over build or build over display.
Considering both are gonna cost me 1450usd
Always choose build over display bcz even after 1 year you can buy a good monitor and connect with your laptop but if the build is not solid or durable it might get damaged quickly or may not be ususbale for more years

mine did not come with light studio RGB keyboard I have the same model but it's an Intel 5 I got it this month I tried everything including uninstalled and reinstall no my laptop is a good laptop but the only 16.1 do not come with RGB keyboard it was a 2023 that's very disappointing in some ways it's a good laptop still make a video about the RGB keyboard some have it +some don't there is no work around😢

Just provide them enough space for air flow
There's a bug with the Omen Gaming Hub that does this sometimes. Switch between balanced and performance mode (wait a few seconds each time) and it should quiet down.

@@pegatrisedmice It's not high at all, because what i should've specified is that this is in Balanced mode where the fan runs at %60 speed (very quiet). When i turn on performance mode the fans ramp up to %80-%100 and this results in a 5-10C drop but obviously this is not needed.
