@@Lo-KeyMuzik There is a DIY fix for on reddit, but since I use a wireless mouse 95% of the time, it's been simply an annoyance and also not worth the headache dealing with HP customer repair service.
If you had it for a while make sure you do some maintenance on it and replace thermal paste and clean it. Assuming it is out of warranty m, if not ask if you csn do it or if not send it to them.

I’m not talking about little games I’m taking about games like rdr2 and plague tale innocence. I haven’t tried cyberpunk yet bc I don’t own it on pc.
I have omen 2022, I can tell you, fan at 5k rpm is loud as f*ck. Maybe if you stopped talking we could hear it lol. I can stand it at 3600 maybe 3800, but anything above 4000 is just waaaaay too loud to be around for a longer than half an hour...

hello guys i need some help so i was using "turn of my screen" option on win 10 like if i needed go away i was just switching power mod with preset turn of screen after 1 min and leave my laptop now im using win 11 and this fucking option send my laptop in some kind of coma, so my screen turn of, laptop still working but do not responding on anything and after pressing enter or esc twice just rebooting itself im using strix 18 maybe Win11 have a problem with Armoury Crate or something? i just dont know at this point, i tried all combination of power mods both on win and Crate and it doesnt change a thing. Like timing is correct, screen turn of on time i put in but it also make this weird shit with reboot what im doing wrong?
so little update last weekend win11 recieved some update and it was needed to restart of course it was at the end of a day so i thought it would continiued next day at the start but also for some fcking reason UEFI decided update at the same time and i was stupid enough to do it without finishing updating win so i caught hard case of BSOD, and it was not possible to recover to be clear last win i installed by myself was win7 and it was from cd to hard drive so it was foony enought to figure out how the fuck i supposed to make my fookin instalation programm to see that fucking ssd but it all was done and guess what fresh win doesnt have problem with turning screen off, more then that it running much smoothly, so it was doomed OS from very beggining i guess
@@aufriro it’s good Im planning on selling my rtx 3060 desktop it keeps up well enough I have a 1440p ultra wide which is like kryptonite to the 4050 but if your just planning on playing 1080 high settings it’s fine I’ve seen 4060 with lower tdp wonder what the differences are. Speakers are really good the build is about what you would expect nothing fancy just functional the only down side is the screen it’s fine but I have a pretty baller display so it’s kinda pale in comparison. It’s a great laptop if you can get it for a good price I wouldn’t say not to. Only thing I will say is stay away from MSI.

Sorry brother I was mistaken I bought another model it include rbg backlite From performance is same as in this video Batter backup is above average I am not installed any games till now My variant come with two ssd slots but in this video it has only one slot So far no dropback till now
I bought this same laptop for my wife back in June. We paid 900 for it, Best Buy was having a small sale on this Omen. She doesn't like it, lol and of course I'm outside my return window. So now I'm stuck with a gaming laptop I don't really have a need for. I have a gaming desktop, Steam Deck. The wife has gone back to Mac. But I loaded some Diablo 4 the other day. Honestly, I'm shocked how dim the screen is. Even at max brightness. Not the biggest fan of the build quality. I'm gonna see if I can sell ours.
The display quality is certainly on the lower end, but that is usually the case when spending only $900. Going up to $1200 usually gets you a better screen gamut and brightness.

@@Ryan-xn3mt No offense, but I think this is mainly a case of bad buying decision. It's absolutely true that e.g. a Macbook Air 15" delivers a better screen and (obviously, since there are no fans) a quieter productivity usage. Until Apple has further stepped up it's DirectX->Metal conversion the Macbook Air wouldn't be able to compete with this laptop in most gaming workloads.

I would say the downside with this laptop would be windows 11 out of the box but you can install windows 10 but it can be time consuming

Yes. Both the 4050 and 4060 variants (for the Ryzen 7) have the option to swap the 512 gig drive with a 1 TB drive.
