    Slightly loosening the scale screws, press the button a few times, then snug them back up on the Qubit. I took mine apart and created button stick accidentally. It may not work but worth a try. Powdered graphite is a messy lube designed for steel on aluminum that may also help, if you use it be aware it is hard to get off of things you don't want it on, shampoo takes it off of skin the easiest without scrubbing too hard. All 3 of my Qubits run great. The Pillar is a great design but you are correct about the fit and finish. They require a bit of work to get decent action out of and smoothing rough edges. The Gaurdian Eagle looks good I'll have to check it out, thanks. Looks like your subs are going up! I was 699 and it went up one more since. Congrats on growing your channel.

      @@Elnavajeroedc Just curious if you tried that on your Qubit?

      @@jamesreese7111 I tried it today but it didn’t work I ended up the fine ceramic on my worksharp feild sharpener and using it on the polished plunge portion of the button lock. That seems to help the button stick go almost all away 👍🏼

      @@Elnavajeroedc Good idea polishing the plunge barrel. Hopefully it'll go away entirely with use. It's a great little slicer. Glad it improved. I've polished a few plunge barrels, there is a quick tip, put the button in a drill chuck, turn it at slow speed, while pinching a piece of 800 or 1000 grit sandpaper around it, polishes up quickly and evenly.

    Mine needed slow open till button breaks in. The harder you thumb flic it the tighter it will stick. Same thing with my elementum. Best button lock out the box for me was kizer original.

    I dug out my Qubit which I got second hand in a trade and fortunately it has no button lock issues like that. I haven’t ever worked on a buttonlock, do you think weakening the button spring (by cutting loop(s) out) and polishing the interface would help?

    • @Elnavajeroedc
      @Elnavajeroedc  Месяц назад +1

      I think polishing would be the best bet usually I try to take things in steps to trouble shoot the issue I’ll make a follow up video once I have it worked out. Thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
