I absolutely love mine, but when I removed the flipper tab, the tolerances changed and now it has side play unless I crank down the pivot then the blade drop too stiff.

is it 40mm or 38mm ??

My Qubit , green/damascus, has been flawless, but I did have a similar problem with a different knife. When I thumb flicked it hard, it had tons of button stick. I found it had a slight ridge on the cylinder that the spring rides in , the exterior of the button itself. I polished it out , then for good measure, I rubbed it in powdered graphite . It was perfectly smooth , afterwards.

Hard to narrow it down, favorite overall and drop point would of course be the Thalia, favorite Tanto the Avenger, favorite name designer collaboration the Willumsen Bravo One, favorite gents item the Max Tkachuk Dandy, favorite mini the Karaji, and for a sheepsfoot and no nonsense work knife I'd probably reach for a Sailor

I think I prefer the non-stainless versions of the Pyrite but it's really solid. Handled the Qubit before and like it too. Gotta hand it to the Mini Roach though - great in hand and wonderful hollow grind.

I admire the blunt honesty if the action doesn't quite rip, I am of course biased but mine can snap out with reverse flick if you use a flick of the wrist with. Tjumbstud comes out quick enough if without a satisfying rip thwack, I simp for Qubit (I think it's pronounced cubit like the ancient measurement as opposed to quibbit) due to the fact that this is the unicorn version, purple aluminum with s35vnI'm still powering through this one's button stick, that knife roll was put away for like 2 weeks heh heh. Dont really need a shallow carry Ti clip, 'Bout all I wish it had was a lefty clip gap plate
