Me. I’m a woman watching Jordan Peterson. I’m human being on this planet as well and I recognize that this man is speaking truth.
I hope, with all my heart, that fame will not corrupt his thought process and he continues to speak truth.
he’s been doing this for years already. He knows that truth is what made him
Why do a lot of the women who watch and support him find it necessary to announce that they are a woman? Are you trying to give his sexism credibility because a woman approves? Women can be their worst enemies sometimes.
Hi. Hope you're relatively ok as you make your way through your life. My comment was answering a question posed by another commenter. I wonder why you need to point out to women that their personal opinions are not appropriate. Does that make you sexist?
Keep striving to be a better person every day.
Try humility.
@@paulafarriswillems3657 I appreciate your comments.
Gainsaying the presupposition that Jordan's arguments only make sense to [toxically masculine] young men, is worthwhile IMO.
Sorry you got a [mansplaining / white knighting / ???] barb in return.
@Al Kamil Who said binary people do not exist? and did you just assume my religion? not cool.
I tend to watch 2-3 videos with JPeterson every day. Is it just me, or he does that to all of us?
I've started that too, but more podcasts, when I'm working, cooking, bathing etc
I used to and I see my same falling back. But I´m trying to cut that out and put my life in order instead of wasting time on the internet.
You, my friend, are what one calls a Jordan Junkie.
@@arkay85 haha, so true

Jordan Peterson *explains something deep and life changing for five minutes*
Interviewer: Cool.
he doesnt agree or understand. that's why
Yeah I have noticed that too.... seems to be a language barrier thing... now I'm not sure what's going on with Skandinavians these days as they are supposed to be the best non-native English speakers besides the Dutch but the ones Professor Peterson has been meeting recently do absolutely horribly on that front.
Twilight Zone this interviewer is nothing but a good seller. He's out of talent in every other aspect. If you understand Swedish go ahead and inspect his material. Pure hare shit
@@KeffoDaug well he does not strike me as unintelligent or untalented it's just his English. I'm really only good at German and Dutch when it comes to Germanic languages (besides English of course) but I understand written Swedish to some degree too so I suppose I could look his work up online.
@@twilightzone7824 Luckily, most (young) swedes are way better at English then he is/was. I don't know if he was nervous or something, but this was kind of painful.
How refreshing to see an interview with Professor Peterson where the interviewer asks questions warmly and with genuine interest as opposed to trying to 'catch him out'.
It had a bit of akwardness at first but it was really refreshing like u said
24:55 Jordan Starts talking about Men and Women (in case you just came for this)
Thanks, but unfortunately I saw your comment when I reach 24:00 😄
Thank you so much
Thank you
Thank you. I was watching his dead meat questions.. 🙄

Jordan Peterson is amazing. He is working so hard non stop. Please get some rest sir.
I'mposs ible with all due respect, I am not sure you know what it is like to tour for work like that. It wears you out physically and mentally.
@I'mposs ible that is not what touring is like. At. All. I have done it, professionally. Touring tears your family apart, your soul and you psyche. And it gets worse the older you are. You do not know what you are talking about. You are just expressing some jealousy about one kind of work over another.
Rest is for pussies. Jordan is a legend and should act like a legend, which means travel the whole world, kick ass and chew bubble gum.

JP also resonates with people from the Afrikan community, he speaks strength in honesty and fairness, and he does that without fear... admirable career and a great thinking man!
Excellent to hear Rico. I hope his words of wisdom ring throughout the world. It is very rare in an community for such an intelligent person to put their heart and soul out there and use their gifts for the benefit of truly making humanity and the world a better place by being better people without expecting instant rewards or some acknowledgement or benefit. He is like a great wise father/ brother/ uncle that we all require to guide us through the darkness and confusion that is the world and life.
Wise words are wise words but it takes a wise man to recognize them. Keep it up!

I think our femininity is a source of strength and masculinity is also a source of strength. Why cant we appreciate eachother?
Why can't extreme feminists appreciate it ?
@CD M Neo-Marxism separates people into "oppression groups" in a ring where only Power exists and rings the bell. This malevolent ideology has been surreptitiously taught in our schools for so long that many are "infected" with this mode of tribal (partisan) warfare thinking and cannot fathom any other way of being.
"Hate feminists" are perhaps the dominant faction of feminism?
Let's See … they’re destructive narcissists, many of whom exhibit all signs of a fully fledged antisocial personality disorder. If you have any sense, avoid them like the plague. Don’t talk to them, don’t debate them, and most of all, don’t ever apologize to them, no matter what. They are like zombies who won’t stop coming after you, but cannot be reasoned with because their brains are rotten due to years of ideological indoctrination in what was formerly called the education system.
Because, much as I agree the media etc 'narrative' including tv adverts is that 'toxic masculinity' is a tautology
"It's very useful to discipline yourself not to use your language in a manipulative manner. " Great man indeed !
I love the part where they talk about weaknesses! He gets so honest.
I absolutely love this interviewer. Good sense of humour, relaxed vibe, and good straight forward questions
11:36 - "You can have reality on your side or against you." This is fantastic! But, it certainly takes some serious self-honesty and courage to align yourself with reality and then try to improve your life and and the lives of those around you.
I wish he was around 30 years ago when I was starting out in life and without direction.
Debra Wehrly but i don’t, coz I feel we need him now more than ever in a time of political uncertainty, and a role model/leader for BOTH Men and Women.
Is this a kind of machiavellian virtue signalling? Men telling the truth like him are attacked and ostracized esp. by women since more than 40 years.
Never too late.. Don't day that. Life never stop. I was thinking like u I know it is hard.
Raymund Hofmann
Like he said, telling the truth is important but be careful what you say. Saying the truth is harder fact of life. Sometimes saying nothing is the best policy.
Debra Wehrly well, he was around but not as available as now with internet.
Dr. Peterson looks tired--difficult schedule he keeps. Please get some rest, sir; your message is very important. Thank you..
Knitter Lifetime Learner I hope he doesn’t burn out.
Same observation. We need him around a long long time.
Yes he looks very very tired. Hope he takes some time off to rest.
His diet is extreme, can't be good for the body to eliminate veggies, fruits, etc. he's lost weight.
Perceptive, prescient as it turns out.
That Swedish hamburger record thing is hilarious and brilliant. Overall a well conducted interview. You had a few unique and good questions but a couple were something that he already answered to in a previous question. If you can identify those on the fly and change/adjust your questions accordingly, I think you would do even better.
And he should really practice his English
It's been 3 years I'm trying to tell the truth as often as possible.. and it has really worked like magic ! This should be taught at school..!
Unexpectedly, for whatever reason, one of my favorite Dr. J interviews. Great job.
So nice to see Jordan Peterson actually enjoy this interview and the interviewer👍
Part of loving your enemies: "You might think that you want to defeat them, but it's much better to want their transformation." Good stuff!
I enjoyed this. It’s fun to watch Jordan defend and win but I much more enjoy listening to him speak with someone who isn’t trying to get an upper hand. Different type of conversation all together. I find I learn much more this way. It’s also nice to see him legitimately smiling. I think he enjoyed it. Thanks for this!
This is the second interview I’ve watched from Sweden and I must say I’m impressed with the civility of the interviewer. It’s refreshing to see Jordan not being attacked when giving his much informed opinions.

Loved this interview. It was nice to have someone ask him questions I've never heard before. Great job!
Really nice to see an interviewer interested in what J.P. says instead of spouting their own misguided interpretation of what someone else said Jordan meant!

What a guest!!
It is like traveling your whole life in a desert, and this information is a drink of cool water. His point: Poverty is a result of corruption (especially well meaning, manipulative corruption)... His salient point: TRUTH, with your self... in every moment. TRUTH. The interview's perspective was unique and mind opening, with a cultural honesty... LOVE LOVE LOVE this speaker's perspective. It lights my brain on fire and sends me down a rabbit hole of being a better person (mother, wife, daughter, friend) and showing up in the world as someone who will always try to show compassion and truth (our concept of truth is flawed and ever evolving).

Good work Alexander! I do wish it was longer :( ... would have loved you to ask more questions and dig deeper. I would think you if anyone could from what you have shown so far.
What a great interviewer, great job Alexander, your style to let the guest speak longer and put out the text is so good, to cut with short questions and get short answers isn't the key, you do it so good. Jordan Peterson is a great guest, I'm going to order that book now, thanks a lot!

Weird, but very revealing, relaxed Interview starting with talking about eating 20 Hamburgers and drinking blood. Really really Tasty! The visuals are almost heavenly. Great Job, Camera Man.
They made the dusty air look very pretty :)
The camera setup is bad. They are both facing the same direction. You have the 3rd camera rarely showing the proper angle, but you otherwise don't know where they are in the room. It's a really amateur setup.
@@ForOrAgainstUs Yes, I agree, it's beginner's luck that he created the dusty halo effect, because there are a lot of "amateur mistakes". But occasionally, as we know from film history, a new style can pop up from experiments (like the "Jump cut" by Godard).

To each its own but the interviewer kept saying in the beginning dr. Peterson eats dead animals but when talking about himself he says he eats plants although they are just as dead.
We all vegans, carnivore or whatever eat dead things, right?
I laughed when he asked dr. Peterson if he drinks blood. Who asks that?
Hope it goes up from here. It is pretty cool to see a Swedish person doing an interview, I really like dr. Peterson talks with someone everywhere he goes.
well usually the plants are still technically alive.
The animal is dead but the meat is not. Otherwise you'd be poisoned
TheOlzee hahaha true I misspoke.
Edit: I just read what I said and I didn’t say meat, I said things. Still think your comment was funny though. :)
ordinalchaos So technically he eats beings while they are still alive? Kinda rude if you ask me. hehe You might even ask him if he drinks the “blood” of plants... ;)
Maybe he eats them while still growing from the ground, like a cow! 😁
This is such a beautiful interview. I've seen so many interviews with Dr Peterson and never once heard the cliche but informative "what are your strengths and weaknesses?". Loved hearing about how he read and how he remembers too. Cool stuff
Alexander! Tack!!!
I'm a doctor and over 50% of my patients have mental health issues...it is probably closer to 100% if you take my problems into account ...even with serious physical issues, our state of mind plays a critical role in how we experience our adversities ...Jordan's advise is practical...doable...sensible...His style is not happy ...he comes across kind of beat and sad but I am very grateful to his magnanimous efforts to help us humble and sometimes lost souls find our way...this is especially useful in a world which is rapidly losing faith in the traditional religions which managed to provide a framework for people to live within...Believe in something ...something good and create a purpose around doing good for something you believe in...in any order that suits you
Hang on ... so you gave the other 50% of your patients *your* problems?
What happened to Hippocrates' "First Do No Harm"?
:-/
You're seeing intense and thoughtful as "beat and sad" [thought those traits may also have been present here ... health issues, yadda yadda...]...

It's so refreshing to hear JP talk about his weaknesses around 20:30. Dealing with my own weaknesses, it's wonderful to see that such an accomplished person has dealt with problems similar to mine.
Very sweet interview with this young guy, fantastic English on his part as well!
Critics state that he has a handful of talking points that he presents and thats that. But every single thing this man releases has a significant building block of wisdom I receive.
That wouldn't even be a valid criticism if it was true. They're criticizing him for having a small handful of....rigorously tested original ideas, that he has applied in a career of psychotherapy? That's a BAD thing?
The reality is, many many intellectuals have a focus that is the bulk of their work. That would just be an example of them phrasing something totally innocuous as though it is awful. Non-argument
Critics are FOS.
omg he looks so good! his dressing gets better everytime.
"Why do you only eat dead animals?" They're difficult to eat alive..
That would also be cruel, it's more humane to kill them first :p
That's what I always say to vegans who eat plants alive. I'm not eating a live animal.

Me too. But I think it is important to emphasize that the ONLY reason I don't like him is because of what he says and the underlying reasons he says it. My dislike for JP has NOTHING to do with him being a male and having predominantly male audience.
Edit: Small clarification; the reason why I don't like what he says is because his words deepen the divide, polarize people, widen the gap, and and artificially create differences.

@@88HaZZarD88 I was about to mention that as well - one of the rare ones out there that's a bit different!
Maybe time to cut down on the JBP-videos. Lol
That was one of the best interviews like this I have seen. Notably, he didn't ask stupid questions and used questions as effective tools to guide the conversation to build a tough picture of some of the more important points within Peterson's belief system. He did not color it by antagonizing Jordan. He did not make a fool of himself by pretending to know more than Jordan.
Kind of sad that it is so rare to find such videos. It is like these leftist media outlets just send the "most sciency" staffer to go tangle with him, usually a woman, always so far out of their own depth, they just stumble and fall at every step.

That part about sitting down with yourself and talking to yourself like you're an actual person, is so important. Especially in today's times. Nobody has any introspection today. As soon as they feel any form of anxiety or worry, they immediately go about trying to distract themselves as much as they can. Pulling up the phone, surfing the web, going out drinking and partying, etc.
Everybody is just constantly escaping themselves because they seem so afraid of what they might find inside, or lack thereof.
