  • A new, patented crimp-style fitting system makes inherently reliable braided steel hose assemblies. It extends hose life, as no heat is applied to the metal and resists corrosion more than welded assemblies. The Crimp-Tite™ process eliminates welding & associated costs and achieves faster production with consistent results, delivering a premium-grade hose solution at considerable cost savings compared to using non-metallic or fluoropolymer plastic products.

    Most likely the seal will fill the voids between the connector and the metal braiding. I presume that since there wasn't a lot of force used to press the connector onto the hose.

      Yes, I am asking same question too, is anyone knows? I used to assembled metallic hoses by welding.

    Defeats the whole purpose of a metal hose by adding a rubber gasket to seal the fitting onto the hose.

    • @enterBJ40
      @enterBJ40 5 лет назад +1

      Why? Some polymers can withstand really high temps.

  • @HostileHST

    What are we all going to do for work when 99% of manufacturing is automated? You'll only need one, maybe two people for an entire facility. Meanwhile, only other thing we can do is be farmers and they are making that more and more illegal. I see the old Russia coming to America. Just the same, I do like the process in the video.
