Great video! I'm so glad Blaze decided to send you an Alpha unit......as you are the ONLY ONE that does in-depth cart reviews like this!! WELL DONE!!!👍
Thanks Crazy! I think you can ease up now lol. Funstock completey sold out of Alpha's last night. I was surprised to see the Standard Street Fighter was the first to sell out when almost everyone was more Megaman in the early days. I didn't see many wanting a Street Fighter until the reviews came along. But yeah, I think you helped shift a load more Crazy as the other 3 Alpha offers have sold out very quickly since your review video came out! 🙂
Lol I'd love to take that responsibility but we won't really know for sure. I'm sure I'll have helped shift a few more. Maybe even a few less lol. More vids soon. Probably closer to the weekend
@@CrazyBurgerReally needs a fair bit of space if you’re going to use it now and again and not have it stored away. But it’s a great size, I’d say a good compromise between usability and desk space.
Great stuff. I’ve been trying to have the willpower to not buy every arcade cart before the alpha arrives, but the more reviews I see, I’m really tempted to get both Gaelco collections. So far I’ve got Technos, Data East, Jaleco, Irem, and Toaplan 1-3. I hope Blaze keeps making the older carts so I can get at least the Gaelco ones a little later. So many great games to play!
@@bjornh1527their relationship seems to have hit the skids and Piko are working on launching a competing platform. I expect all the Piko carts to go out of production when their contracts expire.
Bad Dude is a sick game, used to 1CC in the Arcades back in the days and Double Dragon 1 & 2. I saw Technos Collection 1 on eBay sold for £109 + £2.70 p&p 😂🤣😅 3 days ago, crazy price
As pulling the pad in & out will cause major wear to the port in the long run I was thinking short extension cable... On Amazon UK, "6in usb cable". Scroll down a couple, nice looking one for £5.99 male to female port saver. Think I might grab two for the Alpha. 👍
Personally I think we will be disappointed, they will get the Super Pocket treatment... These games are native wide-screen meaning they will be full screen on a 4:3 and will looked squashed. I don't think it mattered so much on a Super Pocket but the squashed look will be more noticeable on an 8inch screen.
Another great video mate, knocking it out the park with your Evercade content! Always covering the details people are really interested in, and always enjoyable to watch. Nice one 😃👍🏻
Surely you are Piko Arcade’s biggest fan! I bought it for the weirdness, no favourite of mine so far. But I have saved Legend of Silkroad & Steel Force for last 😁
Just to let u know CrazyBurger, my Evercade Alpha Deluxe Street Fighter (No 35 out of 600) came today with my Data East Arcade 2 & Toaplan Arcade 3 with the sock too. So, finally something from Blaze arrived a day before release 😍😘😗😙😚😂🤣😃😄 today is only 27th November 2024 !!!!!!
A quick history nugget about Double Dragon 3. The team behind Renegade/Kunio, Double Dragon and Double Dragon II were not involved in the arcade version of 3. For whatever reason Technos contracted a studio that had literally never made a single action game before to develop a game in their flagship series, and the result is widely regarded from the Double Dragon community as a disaster and easily the worst mainline game in the franchise. So what was the team behind the previous Double Dragon games doing that made them unavailable for Double Dragon 3 arcade? They were developing the Combatribes, hehe.
Looks like Funstock is completely sold out 😢 Wonder if they will ever release a trackball or spinner for these. You tried connecting any arcade sticks to the system?
Despite selling in much lower volume these arcade cabinets are probably going to sell a few more arcade carts for evercade. But I suspect most buyers of the arcade cabinets are going to have them already. I hope a lot more arcade carts are produced in the future. Some of them are real quality such as the IREM cart. The Technos cart is quite a disappointment. The best game on it is Combatribes by far. This is the issue with many carts, a lot have one or two great games and then some padding (which sometimes turns out good in the end if there’s a hidden gem etc)
Sounds like i made the right decision in ordering all 4 super pockets this system hear seems extremely over hyped even though it hasnt officially released yet
Many of these could be fun playing two-players. Oh yeah, this is a one-player arcade with no way of connecting two units, having player 2 using an external controller, awkwardly angled away from the tiny screen. A lame product - arcade needs to cater to multiplayer in the right way. Why couldn't they do like the Capcom Tron Cabinet or whatever it was called?
Great video!

@@MIK_F40 ha. Apologies. I think the biggest issue is really having somewhere to put this thing.

I preordered the streetfighter one because of the alpha versions but im in germany.

Gaelco is gold. They will probably be available for long, Blaze keeps releasing carts from the license owner.
Whatever you do get the Gaelco collections. They are likely going legacy in the near future and prices will go through the roof.

Thanks for the video, been buying the arcade carts in preparation for when I get the deluxe street fighter alpha. 👍

Needs some Sega arcade goodness, Pengo please 🙏
Squash is my favorite tennis game ever and the biggest surprise at Evercade.

Donut Dodo working? That's what I'm most looking forward to. I've heard there are issues with at least one native game--I forget which.
You should watch my main review. There's at least 5 or 6 games currently unsupported. Should be fixed for day 1.
@@CrazyBurger Advice taken, thanks for chaptering that monster vid. bummer about the native dukes too. fingers crossed on that update.

Lol perhaps. I'm aware not everyone enjoys it as much as me.
do you think that evercade/blaze will do like more of the Alpha cabs ?
Depends how well these sell. I'm sure it's a possibility. But with the costs involved.. this feels like an experiment/test.

Not yet. Actually.. I dont own any to test.
When playing a 1 player game do u have to use joystick and buttons, or can u use a controller?
Inserting a controller into Port 1 overrides the joystick/buttons.
Isn't the screen too small for vertical gaming?
@@NeroSky Possibly. It's not ideal.
