Always intrigued by these bigger displacement scooters. I wouldn't be afraid to own n ride one when I'm too old n decrepit to ride a big traditional motorcycle. I think the 650 would be the way to go. By the way- all April was a big BUST for Minnesota motorcycle weather. Tomorrow looks good tho. Have fun
I have a question for the Master Tinker, I am still working with my Kymco bet and win 250CC, so after so searching I found that air mix screw. But now I am having a issue with the fuel sending unit... I think the rub float is stuck. Due to the bad gas. Do you have any suggestions on ways to free it up. Without removing all the panels? Can't just drop the tank... sad. Thanks again and have a great weekend
Well if you don’t want to pull the tank, maybe drain the fuel and fill it with vinegar? It does pretty good at rust removal and also pretty decent at varnish removal due to old gas.
Hi Tim, I have a 2002 Honda XR400r. I’d like to pick your brain for a few minutes if I may. I’m having issues with it bogging/misfiring when accelerating. I did take the carb off and cleaned it just like in your video. I found that I have larger than stock jets. Would that necessitate a different air breather adjustment?
If the jets are just one or two sizes larger, you likely won’t have to adjust anything. It sounds like something might still be dirty? Anyway, take your time and you will get it figured out.
I just bought a used one. Same year and model. I have no experience with scooters so thank you for this info. I like to learn how to do my own work!
These are pretty reliable machines, especially if you do the basic maintenance. I applaud you for taking on the task.
Thanx a lot! Very helpful. I love the Burger, it's so dorky and so cool.
I like these scooters too, never concerned much about anyone else’s thoughts about scooters…a lot of my buddies joke about them. 😂

The 400 is a great size. The 500-650 size really is too big, loses the advantage of a scooter. I don’t miss the crappy weather!
Hi , great video.
May i know if the 200 version works the same?
I don’t think very much is the same on the 200 except for the name.
