Good project pickup for the raps
Masai time redemption lets go!!
Raps drafted him. Lock in baby
Really interesting prospect. I love the fact that the NBA academy has helped more foreign players come into the league
Yea its great. Plenty talent around the world
Raptors will develop him into a beast
Agree, I love him in Toronto
Really enjoyed the video, will be interesting to see if he is able to put it all together
10 years after drafting bruno Masai does it again second time's the charm
Didn't take long for Raptors fans long to forget Pascal Siakam exists.
@DanGolag Siakam wasn't nearly as raw as this kid or Bruno what are you talking about? He already knew how to play at New Mexico.
@@jacobisaac9934 Not quite, but he was still raw AF, he was considered a draft & stash project. No one expected him to come in and contribute right away. Acting like Bruno was the only time Masai ever gambled on a raw talent is revisionist.
I feel silly for being this excited about a guy picked 55th but i think he legit has potential to be really good. Raps fans will compare him to Bruno, which makes sense, but he moves WAY better than Bruno did and is way faster and more fluid. Based on his size and athleticism, if he can refine his skills (which doesnt seem like a pipe dream) he's got potential to be really good NBA player.
As I mention in this video, there is not a ton of film available for Chomche, despite this, I think that he could be a really solid player
what impresses me is for a big man how fluid and quick he is. raptors traded into to 2nd round to take him at 57 so will be interesting how he develops.
Another great video
"Sets hard screens" is music to my ears.
He is definitely a project, but it is little things like that which excite me
great video
Thanks sm, really excited to see him develop
I was hoping the Celtics got him. The Memphis Grizzlies was smart enough to get him. Can’t wait to see him play in the NBA. I think he’s the next Greek Freak
The raptors picked him, they traded for that pick
from what i heard memphis traded for a pick and the timberwolves traded the 57th pick to raptors who took chomche in 2nd round. if he hits, will be a steal.
Reminds me of Bynum
Welcome to Boston. Banner 19.
I think he could be really intriguing, but he is going to have to spend a lot of time in the G league
Don't mind using a late 2nd on an 18 year old project with crazy potential.
Completely agree, his potential is insane
You convinced me, he has NBA potential, but he's not right for my Warriors; not in this years draft.
playing good despite being a raw talent. he needs better environment to grow. hes mental game still weak and its questionable for him to develop to a team player guy
2 years away...
He definitely needs time, but if he gets in the right developmental system he could be solid
@@TheRimReview well with raptors in rebuild. chomche will get the development time he needs.
@@leogetz-rf1kf Hope he doesn't end up being a year away from being a year away.
@@BrimHawk nothing to lose at 57th pick. if he hits, its a home run. if not, its not a big deal. its why they have 905 because they learned from bruno, having your prospect in other teams gleague team who doesnt get play time, doesnt work.
Is a tremendous fit for Celtics
Perfect fit for the clippers. Clippers lack draft capital so they need to draft based off upsides and the clippers are starving for athleticism. Ty lue also don’t be playing younger players so Ulrich would be perfect for playing in the clippers G league team and it could pay off tremendously.
Foh he’s a raptor
raptors traded into the end of the 2nd round to pick up chomche at 57. i believe timberwolves moved the pick for cash to save on luxury tax.
I don't love the idea of drafting someone who would have to spend multiple years in the g league
Shutup goofball
if he is drafted by a team who is in rebuild, he will be fine. he will get the reps he needs on a rebulding team
How do you feel about drafting out of Ignite?
That's usually happens with players drafted late second round
at the end of the day he like a 17 year old out of high school. he will need time to develop. if he was born 2 days later, he would have not been eligible for the 2024 nba draft.
Gianis 2.0?
I don't think that he is that level of player. I think a much better comp would be someone like a Nic Claxton
If there is anyone in this class that could end up being a superstar that falls to the late 1s /early 2nd I could see it being Bobi Klintman. However, I doubt that anyone in this class is able to become a superstar like Giannis
Can wait on bobi video.
@@peter_antonius I have actually already posted the bobi video. If youre interested I have linked it here ruclips.net/video/4wqWivx7YXw/видео.htmlsi=n3_Hxs53lOIYG-Yb
@@TheRimReview sory i miss it. I gona watch asap. Thx
this didnt age well lol
Even though he fell, he still has the ability to develop in the G league and become a solid player
@@TheRimReview that wasn't my point he didn't go to any team you said he would lol
