I gotta be honest, the original bracelet looks way better. The Strapcode bracelet is a more coarse brushed steel and it doesn’t match the colour of the case as it comes across lighter in colour. Maybe it’s different in real life, but it’s noticeable in the video to me. I’d much prefer more micro adjust in the clasp in the stock bracelet, but this isn’t it for me. Great video regardless though. Thanks
I went with the blue dial with red accents. I never wear bracelets and use this with both a rubber strap plus an Artem sailcloth. I think it looks great. I appreciate your style and this review, less technical crap, no stupid unboxing, just your experience and thoughts on the watch.
I ordered the bracelet and the watch at the same time, I hope I am lucky enough to never have to use the oem bracelet as well. The oem bracelets from seiko go straight into the drawer for me always since Im not buying GS or anything crazy.
Well this is an excellent question! Honestly, they are two of my watches that I wear the most, but in different situations. I primarily wear the Gentleman at work when I'm at the office, and then often switch to the Speedtimer when I get home. So, in that sense they don't really compete with each other for wrist time. But what I can unequivocally say is that they each are near the top of my list in their respective categories among my other watches, if you were to break them down between formal/office & casual/sport. Hopefully that helps!
Hi there - no, the bracelet from Strapcode is made for this watch specifically. I initially had some issues with the fit, but Strapcode sent me a new endlink and it worked fine with the original Seiko springbars.
From Strapcode. Although I'm sad to say I've since discovered that it actually doesn't fit properly and one of the end links is misaligned, and one spring bar keeps popping out. I've emailed Strapcode, but they have her to respond. Disappointing quality control.
I heard back from Strapcode yesterday, and they suggested I try switching the end links on the bracelet to see if it fit properly on the other side of the watch, but the same end link still has a fit problem. So I will attempt to return it, unfortunately. But! I don't think that you need to necessarily be concerned. It's more than likely I just got a bad break, and hopefully it's an anomaly and doesn't mean yours won't fit well. If it does, then you're all good! It's still a great bracelet. I just got a bad one.
I believe it’s a full quartz movement. How much did you pay for it? I see them on Amazon around 500 but I’m sure is grey market. Good video, sir. New subscriber!
Thank you for subscribing! I really appreciate it. Yes, full quartz movement - I had a bit of a brain cramp when I was discussing the movement, haha. The AD I purchased from had a sale on...I believe it was 19% off. They can definitely be had for less from a grey market seller, which I don't see anything wrong with doing. 500 on amazon sounds like good price. It's a great watch, still enjoying it 👍🏻
I just can’t find anything wrong with the bracelet that came on it? I’ve replaced the bracelet on my Orient Kamasu with a strapcode but this seiko seams to be fine, remove 2 links move the micro adjustment and it’s a perfect fit
I do not disagree with that. I was able to get a very good fit as well, and it's extremely comfortable! I do think though that the finishing on the bracelet doesn't match very well with the case, and the Strapcode brushed finish and links just aesthetically look like a better match. The Seiko bracelet is totally fine. The Strapcode one is just better, in my opinion.
Does anyone know if the seiko clasp fits the strapcode? I know the strapcode clasp may be nicer but I'd like the seiko one so it doesn't look so generic.
I immediately replaced the bracelet so I actually haven't spent any time with the OEM one that came with it. But I'm quite sure that the Strapcode tapers down to 16 mm, and my guess is the Seiko bracelet only goes down to 18 mm. I've dabbled with trying to swap claps onto other bracelets and for me, it's never quite seamless enough and the mismatch bothers me. But I also get the appeal of having the branded, etched Seiko on the clasp. I can say though that the Strapcode bracelet is very comfortable, and the clasp is quality.
I agree with this, as I've had to put the OEM bracelet back on. I was disappointed to discover the fit of one of the endlinks of the Strapcode bracelet is off. Bad quality control, I guess. And it continually pops out and doesn't stay firmly attached, so I just can't use it. No response from Strapcode either, unfortunately. But thankfully I was able to get a good fit with the Seiko bracelet, which like you say is actually fine apart from only two micro adjustments.
No, I don't believe so. I haven't seen a lot of official info on what the material is, but it's likely stainless steel or aluminum with a hard anodized coating on it. It looks really good though, extremely crisp and "bright"

That bracelet looks perfect on it!
Bracelet pretty much identical. I got the SC jubilee which looks nice n
I have the Seiko speedtimer and the Tissot Gentleman that you're wearing, good choices!
Thank you, and same to you!
Good evening. since you have two watches that I really like. Which do you prefer, the Seiko speedtimer or the Tissot gentleman? THANKS

@@froesei Thank you very much for your answer
I have the same Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 but in the dark green 😅
I just bought it through Amazon .. but i had a different box .. does it mean it's fake? or it comes in different boxes?
What’s the link to that bracelet? Or what’s the name so I can buy it. It does look better on the watch
It's from Strapcode, if you do a search for it on their site it should be pretty easy to find!
Do you have a link for the strapcode bracelet?
Hi there, looks very nice with that bracelet, is it officially made for the 62 mas from strapcode?
Hi there - no, the bracelet from Strapcode is made for this watch specifically. I initially had some issues with the fit, but Strapcode sent me a new endlink and it worked fine with the original Seiko springbars.
@@froesei okey thanks for your feedback,I'll sent strapcode a email about this. Thnx 👍
Where did u buy the bracelete?
May I know where did you get that bracelet? Awesome!

Can we trust amazon sellers, if it ship from amazon? For authentic?"
That strapcode bracelet is a must for this watch
Agreed. A much better match for the case than the Seiko bracelet.

Directly from the Strapcode website. Easy to find, just google it! 👍🏻
Is there a black dial model available?
There sure is. And a few other variations as well.

The clasp, with just 2 micro adjust holes, is for me the entire problem with the bracelet. Otherwise the bracelet is just fine for me
