hey, i’m glad you’re ok! 💜 and i know we all experience things differently, but everything you said about “losing interest” in your hobbies (but not _actually_ losing interest, rather not having the “motivation” to do it anymore) did resonate a lot with me... i always thought i was just too lazy or had no discipline to continue pursuing things - things that i actually enjoyed. i‘ve lost count of how many things i’ve abandoned in the past, that i wish i had pursued further, or that i often think about doing again. i just don’t, and i hate that, but i figured it was just a matter of having other things to do or not “wanting enough”. i never really thought it was a /thing/ yk? just that i was crap at maintaining hobbys/practices or i lose interest in everything eventually (which didn’t make sense, because i’d always miss doing it at some point). which might be normal once in a while, but yk. it kinda sucks. and then... i was diagnosed with adhd, last year. which literally only happened bcs i was having some memory problems - i never even entertained the thought of me having adhd, i was pretty sure i didn’t and the symptoms/signs of adhd i had were surely bcs of depression (which i had been treating for years already). turns out it wasn’t? lol and after talking with different professionals things started clicking, and it did make a lot of sense. unfortunately, most people do tend to see adhd as this thing that just “makes kids a little inattentive/hyperactive in school”, but it is definitely much more than that. i hope things are okay, and that you have kind, understanding people by your side!! pls don’t pressure yourself too much (i totally get wanting to listen/watch things as soon as they come out and waiting can be the worst 😭 so i hope you can find a balance that let’s you keep doing what you love, but without it stressing you…) that being said, i’m sure there’s lots of us that are glad to see you back (and okay!) 🫂💜
Thank you for coming back to update us. A lot of reactors just leave without a word and it’s a bummer. I’m glad you still love kpop! You’re a great reactor! At the end of the day, do what’s best for you and what makes you happy 🤗
Good to see you again and you're well. The only way to keep doing YT or anything else for that manner longterm is to make the journey enjoyable and stay true to yourself, good luck!
as you were talking about losing interest and I was thinking ‘bestie you just have adhd’ and then you said it 😂 it’s hard! I have it too- it gets easier over time once you figure out some ways to work around it. happy to have you back!
